I became interested in watches when I was 10 years old after my grandfather gave me his old Timex. It wasn't what he gave me, but how he did it. He pulled out another watch for himself and we synced our watches so we were connected through time.
The last 10 years I've slowly leaned into the world of watches. I love the story behind the watch. The beginnings of a watch maker...the true artisan of space and time.
My eye typically wanders to the microbrand, with the unique face and dial. It's when the wearer and the watch are face to face, communicating between each other. The watch is a reliable friend who can give you that gentle, stylish reminder that I need to be someplace. Let's get going.
Time is the one thing we all have the same amount of. Doesn't matter how wealthy, or old or young, education or occupation. We all have the same hours, minutes and seconds in a day...God willing. The watch serves as that reminder for us to make every minute and second count.
I enjoy the community of watch enthusiasts and their knowledge and passion for time pieces. My collection is nothing of great value to someone off the street. But that's okay. My collection speaks to me, and shares a story that inspires me for the day or that special occasion.
I look forward to meeting others on their journey and share their passion of timepieces. Thank you for your interest. Best wishes and much happiness!
