The right watch for the cuff?

I read all the time how one needs to select a dress watch to work with the dress shirt you want to wear. I can’t be the only one who selects a cuff to match the watch I want to wear. 🤪

The thought never crosses my mind. But whatever floats your boat.

I choose my watch based on the colors of what I'm wearing. It doesn't have to be the shirt, but it usually is. 💯

It's often the same people who claim to not give any thought to what they wear that feel the need for others to know about their "indifference".

I select my watch and my clothes based on my plans for the day. I generally coordinate.

I don't care if my watch doesn't fit under my cuff. Or if it does. Doesn't matter.

Most

Of my button up long sleeve cuff shirts are made with the left cuff opening larger than the right!

That’s so cool! (Or am I an idiot and missed that you were being sarcastic?)

Nope, for an actually reasonable $ I have my shirts made to measure and I get double button barrel cuffs with my left one between .5”-1” larger. That and the double button provides a longer cuff that spans a watch.

For real:

For a reasonable $ I get my shorts. Are to measure and have them with a double button barrel

Cuff and my left wrist cuff size on the shirt is always made .5”-1” larger depending on the fabric. The two buttons help span the watch and cover it.
