I've never seen this before, but a Google Lens search brings back some different versions available in good condition. It'll certainly be a talking point!
You can still download the user manual from the Festina website. I love this watch. Had it for 20 years now. My dial is differently awkward, but the oblong shape is another thing I love about it. The original straps are not worth replacing with original again: the rubber just crumbles and the thin leather layer on the outside does not survive either. Just get a sturdy leather strap and youโll love it again!
You are all just tempting me to buy this just because of that dial. What would one in this condition go for?
Itโs a quartz chronographโฆ I imagine itโs probably worth 100-200 bucks depending on condition, but I paid around 300 bucks new for itโฆ but if you love it, just get it. โบ๏ธ
I assume tech based on profile pic but these days you can't be too sure ;)
If you worry about what people will think, I understand. I used to care about that too. However, if people donโt share your taste, doesnโt mean theyโll judge you for it. And even if they do, youโre more likely to get curious comments on this watch than many others. As @Cantaloop said: itโs certainly a talking pointโฆ
for sure ๐ I was actually curious about its size more than anything. Very little info that is in English what I have seen is it is either 36 or 39m.

It did come in several sizes. Mine is listed as 45mm, but that is the sideways measurement, since itโs not round.
The California dial with Romans on top and Arabics on the bottom is unique, but this dial with odds on the right and evens on the left takes the prize for quirkiness. I like it.

Even longer still. I got mine in 2004. #festina
There's a reason it's 'unique' ๐
