For instances where you finished the day wearing a watch that you plan on wearing again the next morning, where do you store it while you sleep?

On my wrist. Sleep with it.

If I’m organized, my desk. But oftentimes I set it on my nightstand. I should probably get a thing to set them on, since some scratch up wood bad.

·

As mentioned by @goodoboy30, on my wrist. I change it in the morning.

Fascinating. @goodoboy30 & @DigitalDivider : will you wear any/all of your watches to sleep? Even ones on full steel bracelets or are there exceptions? Some watches are "sleep watches" and some aren't(?)

It depends on the watch, if it is one of my comfortable and light watches on my wrist, if it is one of the largest and heavier ones, on my nightstand on a flannel so as not to scratch it.

·

Watch box, on top of box, on nightstand, on wrist. I'm all over the place & nothing is really dominant.

I just wear whatever is on my wrist to bed, although I don't have very many watches on bracelets, just a few Casio, Timex, and Armitron watches on lightweight folded-link bracelets. I prefer straps over bracelets.

Sorry, are you suggesting wearing the same watch two days in a row? Are you sure you are posting to the correct community?

·

I usually put my watch away when I get home and switch to one of the g-shocks or my f91w.

·

I have a valet tray on my nightstand

·

I usually place the following day’s watch on a 3D printed coaster on my desk.

·

Wear one to bed. Often my Laco Valencia:

On my wrist!

What's the point of having a watch with great lume if you don't wear it at night? I don't care whether it's on a bracelet or strap.

·

Normally in the box, unless it's my Casio AE1000, which I use for my alarm/middle of the night time checks!

·

On dresser on a watch holder

·

Bathroom vanity. Thing is massive. Watch and jewelry for the next day are always in the same place.

·

I like sleeping with my watch on

I wear all of my watches for sleep (even something like a Helm Vanuatu, which is a monster at 200g and engineer bracelet).

You get used to it real quick

Gorgeous watch!

I stick a cigarette packet inside it because my following morning ritual consists of smoking 5 in a row while putting on my watch and checking the profiles of all the people I stalk on Facebook to see if they've died or not.

Thanks for sharing. This is a safe space.

I have a black mouse pad that I keep in front of my watch box. That’s the landing zone. If I’m wearing the same watch the next day, I’ll just leave it on the pad rather than putting back in the box.

Smart move!

I've got a drawer in my night stand with an organizer for all my edc but some of my watches I tend to wear to bed.

Haha! Plot twist: he sleeps on the floor and tucks his watch into bed.

😂 that would be a good one. I do sleep on the floor on something called a japensse futon like a hippy

·

I either put on top of my watch box or leave it on my desk (WFH and usually pop in the office before bed quick)

·

Winder or OCD will kill you in your sleep 😜

·
