Spy vs. Spy - what dial colour predominantly rules your wrist watch collection?

For me it is predominantly black, blue or darker grey dials. Tend to love the white dials more for my dressier wrist watches and my wall and table clocks.

How is it with your collection or tastes?

Do you see this trend changing in the next few years on which colour will dominate wrist watches? Can we see the dominance or popularity of white coloured motor vehicles permeating into the wrist watch world?

Just curious on this Seiko Saturday...

Black dials dominate my collection, followed by blue dials. From there though I have various colours.

Seems to be a new ‘trend’ colour every year but I don’t see the dominance of the black dial changing anytime soon.

Love that clock by the way. I’ve got a little Seiko digital clock but I could definitely find room for something like that!

Same for me. Mostly black or dark dials, with a couple white dial dressier watches.

·

BLUE gotta shout it fantastic colour cant buy enough watches with blue dials……… I need help!

·

No dominant color.

B&M Capeland chronograph - mostly black with brown and red

Omega (1947) bumper - silver in the center, greenish silver around the outside.

Squale 1521 - cerulean blue

Glycine Airman - cream

Visitor Linden - white

Nomos Tangente - pale silver

Tissot PRX P80 - dark blue

Oris BCPC - Oxblood

I don't want a dominant color at all. I will have different shades of the same color, but never any that are close.

Mainly black dials, some sunny and always with golden details...

As you can see on my old collection...

Predominantly black, to the point one of my friends commented that I need more color in my collection.

Mostly black dials but I love the Maiko 2 blue dial and the alpinist in green!

·

Safe to say Black

Black like 12:1

(I have a single white dial watch...)

·

Any colour as long as it’s black. Though… some aren’t. I didn’t choose those though, for the most part.

That Skagen is cool. I have a similar one with a blue dial but it's tame compared to yours.

I have that exact same Seiko alarmclock.😁It's nice that it has a smooth sweeping second hand, and does not tick when you are trying to fall asleep.👌

As for the dialcolors, most of them are blue and black, some grey. And a few other colors as well. Try to have a variation of different things.

Ooo! Compliments brownies! 🤤

I try to always buy a colorway I don’t already have - so my pattern is no pattern! Other than being heavy with Japan watches and light on Swiss…
