Are you getting ready for end Daylight Saving time (Fall back) this coming Nov. 5, 2023

Those with a larger than a one to three watch collection; do adjust your time early ?, on the day of ?, or when you need to wear your watch again ?

It's one of those days when I wish I only had G-Shocks! 😂

·

I have to set the quartz watches so they can be grab and go later. For the mechanicals I’ll set them when I wear them.

·

Next wear.

·

I can’t tell time so don’t matter to me.

By Nov 5th, us Brits will be too busy setting off fireworks! 😁

·

Can't we finally do away with this stupid DST forever?

·

With about 100 watches, I just set them as I wear them. No need to go through all that at once; I'll get to them in time. 😉

·

Two of my watches self correct and one is a jump hour gmt so I'll just wear one of those until the rest run out of power.

·

My Casio has bluetooth so it takes time corrections from my phone. The rest I reset as I go. Since most of my daily wears are hand wind now, it really isn't a big deal for me. I just hate getting my biological clock back on track.

·

Interesting that it ends on different days in different parts of the world. Here in Europe it’s this year on the 29th of October.

Anyone know why it’s this way?

I am so glad that I don't celebrate this strange Western tradition. It sounds like a lot of hassle.

Every time daylight savings time rolls around again, it reminds me of a simpler time when I only had 1-3 automatic/mechanical time pieces and makes me want to review and pare down the collection which has exponentially grown in the last 6 years... Maybe daylight savings time is a good thing for that reason?
