If you can have 1 diver in your collection, how many of you would pick Submariner?

You can have as many watches as you want but only 1 diver possible, what would you pick?

I am looking for some good divers on reply if you choose others!

In my case, I chose Breitling Colt 41 A17313

Casio duro because its cheap and does the job 😁

·

BB54 which will be my next watch inshallah. God willing .

·

For water-based activities, Vostok has my needs covered.

·

If it is just one, it would be my Seiko SNJ025 "Arnie"

GO SeaQ if I had the cash and Panorama Date if I had the wrist for it.

A Muhle Glashutte SAR. Goddamn that is a manly man's watch.

My Breitling Transocean Heritage was one of the watches that I picked up new for $2500 cad a few years after I sold off many of my watches to finance some home appliances, there were a few Rolex watches sold off including 2 Subs wonderful items but no more special than this watch and a lot of other models on the marketplace. My nephew was searching for a watch in 1986 when he attended my wedding, I suggested a Rolex Sea Dweller full set that a re seller had just acquired, he loves that watch but offered me his SD in trade for my Breitling last summer. It is not a fair trade for him, I intend to gift him the watch if either of my two daughters do not want this watch in a few years.

If you want a dive watch not a dive style like the sub has become I’d pick a sinn U series or a seiko tuna also if I wanted a quality dive style I’d pick a seamaster over the sub

I find the watch much more interesting to look at

I’ve mentioned it before and it’s appropriate here as well, it is SO funny time after time on these posts it’s nearly three to one in favor of anything but a Rolex and yet Rolex can’t make them fast enough to even meet the demand. Also I’d love to see some of you with the watch you mentioned in one hand and a submariner in the other and see which one you would really take. Just my opinion and the polls seem to support this 🌈

I would have to say the Montblanc 1858 my wife gave me for our 20th anniversary.

This comment is funny 😄 (BECAUSE IT’S THE TRUTH)

Not really into divers, I just don't vibe with them. So if I got a diver I probably wouldn't spend so much on a hype piece when I can find plenty of others 🤷‍♂️

I tried this Meraud diver on a few weeks ago and I quite liked it.

I just watched Teddy’s interview with Muehle’s owner and maybe (most probably) I’m too easily influenced but it made me want to get a Muehle as my only diver if I have to.

·

I have never liked the Subby, as I think it's quite boring. I have ten divers, and from week to week I have a different favourite. This week it's probably my Maen Hudson, but it could be my Batavi Kosmopolite

I could never personally justify the cost of a Submariner when a Seamaster is half the price and has a dial with more character. Also I don’t do deep sea diving so the bezel grip doesn’t matter to me.

Same here. My bezels are never pointing other than 12 oclock

100% my Sub for me. It’s funny when the topic is brought up in the context of this post and the reactions posted when they do.

I bought a submariner date last year, the 41mm model. Was unimpressed and eventually sold it. Purchased a Tudor Pelagos blue 42mm and am loving it. It ticks all the boxes for me, the blue pops and the titanium is far more comfortable to wear.

Pelagos is the watch. Titanium 42mm works. Rolex Yatchmaster 42mm in titanium is the proof.

Don't own any divers, if I were to buy one it'd be the wise ad8

I am a big fan of oris aquis 🙂 I know there are better options out there specs and finish wise but for me it is perfect :)
