When I tried on the current model of the hydroconquest it was priced at 1,300, believe it or not. If I pulled the trigger, I reckon I could have talked them down to below 1k - simpler times.
I didn't know Omega discounts were back on the table, maybe a below 5k Omega sports isn't a pip dream!
Thanks, I've not tried negotiating on any of the new Longines models but I'm just wondering because I'm eyeing up a zulu time and it wasn't too long ago when Omega decided there would be no more discounts.
Ah yeah I can see it being model dependant. I'm eyeing up the all black one which luckily is not as popular. The upshot is that discounts still seem possible. It was a sad day, not too long ago, when Omega ended discounts out right.
Agreed! When I first got into watches I wanted a luxury diver around £1k and one of the watches I tried on was the hydroconquest. I'm hoping the new £2k-ish hydroconquest GMT comes in a non-GMT version for a price closer to the £1k-ish mark.
