Just added this to my humble collection
I'm new to the WatchCrunch community, and I wanted to show my newest time piece. I was fortunate to add this to my collection just this past Friday. It was purchased at a small, local A.D. in central Alabama. They had exactly what I was looking for - this stunning Spirit Zulu Time! I've been debating between this and a few other pilot/tool GMT watches, not the least of which was the Tudor BB Pro. While the Tudor might be ever-so-slightly better looking, and it's bracelet is certainly better, I decided that the Zulu Time was the better option...for me.
It all started with a very small, manual wind Timex when I was a young lad. Now I am very much the watch enthusiast and really growing in my appreciation of these micro-engines that power our mechanic...

I'm collecting my Zulu Time on Friday and I cannot wait!! I went for the same green bezel on the bracelet. I've already ordered a leather strap for it, I was tempted to get the official Longines deployant strap, but it's £245 and that's just absurd money.

I did get to try on this exact watch prior to deciding. I also tried the 40mm Spirit, the Spirit Chronograph, as well as the Tudor BB Pro on bracelet and the Tudor Ranger on hybrid strap. I chose the Zulu Time because of the greater wrist presence as well as the dial design. I really liked the BB Pro, and the bracelet is a cut-above, but the size was a little small to me.

Congrats! I love these and I want one myself but I already own a longines and I made a stupid rule to myself to only have one watch per brand so I can explore different things

This is really interesting. I also tried on a black dial Zulu, but the AD didn't have the BB Pro for me to try. I'm happy with my choice as there's far more watches from Longines i'm interested in than Tudor.

Hi, I purchased the blue leather strap version of the Zulu Time last Tuesday.
I own BB GMT from Tudor for 2 years and in my eyes they are both beautiful, Longines a little bit more beautiful but I'm in the honey moon with it.
I did buy this watches for the functionality they give during traveling.

The leather strap is of good quality and the clasp with the on the fly adjustment system is so good.
Great looking watch. I think the Tudor and Longines are in two different levels but this is an excellent choice....enjoy!
I really love the Green bezel with the black & gold dial, so cool & unique, there's not many green watches around
