I bought this book about 8 months ago. Pretty good survey book on pilot watches. I thought I would post this in case any of you are interested. I have...
The CW table was by far the most crowded. There was a consistent 3-4 people deep semi-circle around the table the hour my wife and I were there. They need to look for a bigger venue for the event!

Don’t think we’ll ever see a boss-level story like that again here at WC. The text update was great! Very few martial artists get to use their training in real world situations—or their field watches!😉
Amazon had a try-before-you-buy offer on a Pagani Rolex Explorer II homage that I bought mainly to see if I would like the white face instead of the black face. The AD where I am on a list for the Rolex GMT Batman said I might have a better chance of getting an Explorer II than the GMT.
The Pagani looked good but you can tell that the edges were a bit sharper and it did not feel like a luxury watch. I quickly realized I would never wear it in public nor any other homage watch. It was an easy enough return with no payment of any kind. I’ve also decided to wait for the GMT so it served it purpose.
I bought my first Islander watch back in February--the ISL-140 GMT in grey. It was running about 15-17 seconds slow with was within tolerance. Nevertheless, Marc still offered to get it regulated for only the cost of shipping to the repair shop in the next state.
I like the way he responds quickly to emails and stands by his products. Will buy again.
