What's most annoying?

We all have our pet peeves, especially about a hobby we are so passionate about and even more so on the internets. Actually any of the questionable offenses listed lead me to immediately block someone...

Are redundant/repetitive polls dumbing down/detracting from WatchCrunch?

Same poll, just minutes apart. Not counting the hundreds of other polls asking the same question. Are redundant/repetitive polls dumbing down/detracting from WatchCrunch? (See example below...)

Who makes the best French fries?

Everyone knows, I like French fries. If you don't like fries, you are dead to me, have no tastes, are an epicurean disenfranchised low-life sort who does not deserve to eat solid food, etc...

Go for it. Surely there is really a company with a successful business model whereby they send out watches worth FAR more than the money you pay monthly, or for a spin.

They wouldn't BS or scam you by sending out $50 Chinese mushroom brands that they build up a BS backstory for with inflated MSRPs.

Also, the people hawking junk on TeeVee shopping channels are your trusted, close friends who really care about you and want you to have luxury goods at a bargain price but only if you call NOW as supplies are limited.

You NEED that extended car warranty that ends at 100K miles. Call now!

Insurance companies are your friend. Good hands and the benefits you DESERVE. For no money in most cases.

The check is in the mail.

He is just a friend.

I've never done this before.

The Corporation values your input.

Politicians have your best interest at heart.

Runs great.

I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

That packet of holy water and prayer cloth from Peter Popoff really will change your life. Probably get rich because of it. And remember, donations are tax deductible. Be blessed!

Lies. All lies, but you do you.

When I was a one watch guy, whether it was the period of time where that was a Seiko (twice), a Rolex (twice) or a Luminox, I wore those watches for absolutely everything. From 1985-2010.

commented on To those of you who own a watch with a black coating over the steel, how do you feel about your purchase now? ·

Have owned several and always parted ways with them. PVD & DLC coatings are superior to older methods however it still works best when is metal on metal, such as rose gold PVD over stainless.

If I want a black watch, it is going to have to be plastic, resin or carbon fiber.

Congrats. On my short list of wants. Had the chance to try on the 39mm blue version earlier this year while visiting our son in Nashville. Incredibly well done watch.

@Salty1

Medical for Team Six of the USS Novaform reporting in from a local medical center where I have passed myself off as a staff member in order to pick up radioactive isotopes.

Has been a bit spooky. There are staff everywhere, predominantly wearing royal blue scrubs. I managed to steal a pair after making a raid into dirty linen. These scrubs are FUNKY.

It appears that such things as blood pressure cuffs are now all single use so are inaccessible without subduing a patient. Pictured is the sphygmomanometer these cuffs attach to. Also, a dirty stethoscope was located. Note dual watches including my stealthy Casio Royale in stopwatch mode.

Mission was successful and have secured a large box of radioactive material.
