Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have owned watches since high school but never more than two. Then my kids grew up and I had money to play with.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first "real watch" was a Seiko two-tone that my HS girlfriend gave me.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Had a watch is more like it. Bought my first Rolex when I got out of nursing school. And promptly killed it with a precipitous drop. Totaled it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Quality over quantity. All day, every day.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Traska, Second Hour, Nodus, Nezumi, Tudor
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Too many to count but these three would be in the top ten: 1-Rolex Day-Date Platinum Ice Blue dial with diamond hour markers 2-Vacheron Overseas in Gold 3-Just about anything Parmigiani makes
