Everyone knows, I like French fries.
If you don't like fries, you are dead to me, have no tastes, are an epicurean disenfranchised low-life sort who does not deserve to eat solid food, etc...
Not a burger joint and sadly out of business. But their was this diner on Central Ave in Montclair CA that had the best fries. Double fried fresh potatoes.
Here in Germany usually some of the best fries can be had at public pools or at the beach. They taste even better when you‘ve been swimming in the sea/pool on a hot summer day and feel famished 😂
In my town we have both a McDonalds and a Burger King. They are right across the street from one another. If I go to the BK for a Whopper I then drive to the other side for a large fry from McDonalds on my way back home.
McDonald's fries are from one species of potato that need a lot of chemicals applied to make them larger and disease free. The huge amount of salt they use is crazy
Do you mean those thin chip things, no no I'm British. We don't do that sort of thing over here, we do chips, proper chips with mushy (not smashed) peas, a piece of battered alaskan pollak and tomatoe sauce. Non of that foreign muck thankyou very much.
On the extremely rare occasions when my wife is trying to score points she'll get me the ultimate fast food meal consisting of Mickey D Fries, an In n Out Double Double burger (yes Animal Style) and an Oreo Cookie shake from Jack in the Crack.
All three are in the same complex so it's not that hard. Shake first, burger next, fries last.

I grew up near Montclair and my Mom still lives in Upland. I'm curious which diner this was.

I'm gonna go with five guys 🔥🔥🔥
Five Guys.
Though I can no longer eat French fries, at least not a serving as they kill my blood sugar.

The freshest example of any version is always your own, hand cut & triple fried .
But if I'm not making them, Burger King are my favorite.
Whataburger
Mickey D's, How good are they, you might ask?

McDonalds fries are a religious experience to me.

McDonalds for me of the mainstream chains - now for the controversy for some, Chick-fil-A has the worst by a country mile. I said what said! 😜
Cooter Brown's in New Orleans used to have the best chili cheese fries. I went back last year and they were not quite as good.
The key to McDonald's was beef tallow. They haven't been the same since they changed to oil.
I buy McDonald's fries mostly for the Insta likes when I post fry shots... Just don't tell people on Insta I said that.

NYC Diner fries for me. Thick enough to have crystal crunch exterior and baked potato interior. Shovel them into me Homer Simpsons donut style.
Rolex.
I know it's an oddball but Dairy Queen has some of my favorite fries around. They do have to be fresh out of the fryer though.
