Which Watch Bracelet do you prefer?

So I used to not be a fan of watch bracelets, they always felt like such a pain to deal with and never had the right fit. Well about 3 years in to higher end watches, and I'm starting to reconsider.. So I'm curious, which kind of bracelet do you prefer (buckles not considered)? *Other voting options in the comments*

Shark Mesh

·

Fully brushed Oyster style for me.

·

Bracelets have always been my preferred option. I just felt like since they matched the case and frequently were the manufacturers choice, it meant they were the best and conveyed status I wanted. Misguided trust in a corporation, I know.

The Milanese is my current fave, but I need to try a jubilee, a BOR, an engineer and a shark mesh. I really like the looks of an engineer and a BOR, but the jubilee looks like it blends comfort and weight the best.

·

The oyster is my preferred. clean, classy, and rugged.

·

I used to really be a fan of the presidential, but after having a very nice homage with that style bracelet, I can honestly say it was a little too flashy for me. I’ve never had a problem being comfortable in any of these other particular bracelet types, so I defaulted with oyster, because in my opinion it is a little more versatile than the others.

·

Straps all day. If I must choose a bracelet, it’s oyster.

·

I prefer a bracelet with 9 solid links wide of exatly the same width, that are slightly bent / almost"flat" and have an almost invisible clasp... These two have wider outher links, but cost only 18 euro and I bought the top one at eBay to my Casio 200m grail...

This beauty have 7 same width links, but did cost 35 euro at Amazon and I prefer 9 links...

Then can a mixed witdh look excellent to some watches... As this one I bought for 22 euro at Amazon

I think oyster bracelets are the most versatile for the largest variety of occasions

·

I like all kinds of bracelets. I think it would be easier to say what I don't like. I don't like:

  • Anything with polished links

  • Gold bracelets (with perhaps one or two exceptions)

  • Those stretchy expanding metal bracelets, AKA "old man bracelets". Too easy to get disgusting gunk and crud trapped between the expanding links.

  • And no butterfly clasps.

·

Actually I prefer all the bracelets mentioned in your poll, but the jubilee has a special place in my heart

·

I love fine-link-bracelets with butterfly-clasps. The articulation is fantastic. Polished or unpolished, but it should match the case. As i wear my bracelets loose i prefer a butterfly-clasp. Had no problem adjusting them to the right size with half links

, but always problems with the bulky milled "normal" clasps. They seem always in the way while working an office job.

·

I like different types of bracelets on different watches

Love the Hexad bracelet from Strapcode. 😉

·

The one with "on the fly" micro-adjustment, whatever it is 😬

·

I chose Jubilee thinking clearly of the new Tudor with T fit , otherwise Glide lock Oyster 1st….

·

Beads of rice is so underrated to me. Its confort is superb.

·

I love bracelets on a watch, but most of the time have trouble adjusting them for a good fit on my bird-like wrist. Usually either too tight or too loose unfortunately 😕 the Casio "oyster" style one on my MDV-106 is a real sharp-edged hair puller too! LOL!! 😂

·

Before the watch madness took hold I never really thought I’d be a “bracelet guy” but now I love ‘em. Super quick to put on or take off, and keeps the watch locked securely to your arm when correctly adjusted. Leather straps are nice enough but completely impractical for my job, unfortunately. I enjoy playing around with natos for the look but they never hold the watch in one place the way a bracelet can imo. Admittedly I’ve yet to try a MN strap and I do like the “rubber” strap (and intend to try a waffle/Choc bar) that came with my Willard, but bracelets just work and the integrated look is nice. I’ve voted BOR because I’ve only recently tried one and love it. I want to try a jubilee/hexad at some point… Mesh is good too 👍 Gotta love a good bracelet 🥰

·

The comfort and style of a jubilee bracelet is my preference. My watch case looks like a jubilee bracelet display case. 🙄

The BoR on my SRPE003 really takes the King Turtle to another level. The jubilee bracelets from LIW are an outanding value and I put one on a Casio Duro and a Citizen Promaster. The Seiko GMT came with a very nice jubilee and the one I picked up from Strapcode for the Seiko Speedtimer really enhanced the look of that watch.

Couldn't agree more, that was my personal vote.

·

I won't even lie, I got a presidential bracelet on AliExpress and the quality of that made me reconsider bracelets for watch straps. This bad boi with the butterfly clasp..

Then I bough this Merkur TopHill and this Beads of Rice just blew my mind..

And titanium bracelets are just a cut above the rest..

So what's this type of bracelet called?

Image

It really depends on the watch I'm matching a bracelet to and the vibe I'm hoping to achieve. I have most - Milanese, Shark, BOR, Jubilee, Oyster, and the one above. I like them all for the specific purposes that they serve, which is to make a good looking watch stand out even more.

I know what you mean, I have an H link bracelet and I didn't include it. This style seems specific to Timex though

This one's actually a WatchGecko "Classic Retro" strap, but I've seen the same bracelet on the Q Timex GMTs, albeit in an integrated design...

Very nice! Do you have the link to purchase the bracelet with 9 solid links?

Trough Ebay, the other trough Amazon

·

I'm a simple sob. Short links and no hair pulling is all I'm asking for ....

·

I like all sorts of bracelets, so long as they look good on the watch I put it on. The dress must fit the lady...always. 😉 Better too, if the bracelets can also be used interchangeably with other watches of the same lug width. 🍻
