Joma Shop experience?

I ordered this watch from Joma Shop in the 30th of January, but it still shows as "awaiting shipment". The chat bot states the order is "awaiting approval". Requested live chat and contact with customer service representative, but absolute crickets. Is this "normal" with Joma Shop? The watch is in stock and should ship in 1-3 days.

I've only ordered twice from Jomashop, both negative experiences. One was a minor issue, the other a more major issue. My contact with customer service was less than pleasurable.

I just hope I can get the watch at least.

With Jomashop if it is in stock it has always been great in my multiple experiences - mainly affordable watches. You have to watch to see if it says contact to see availability on the expensive items - in that case I think they source it and who knows how it might go.

As you can see and if you go on their site right now, they say it ships in 1-3 days.

Yep, was just sharing my experience. I think it should be fine for an Orient - probably a warehouse processing backlog.

I remember back when the 35mm PRX came out i ordered it from them. After over a week of silence i emailed them and another week went by and they finally said it was out of stock (which wasn't shown at the time of order, of course) and they could issue me a refund if i didn't want to wait for stock to return lol, kind of backwards..

That being said ive ordered two times since then and I did receive both quickly. Their customer service is definitely bad though. Hopefully you get your orient shipped out soon!

You have to watch shops like Joma Shop. I have been told from multiole sources that shops like them often advertise a piece at an incredible price but then have to go buy the piece abefore sending it on it's way.

Over the years I have heard good stories about them but th ehorror stories outnumber the good.

In this case the price is just what it is. It was the best price I could get, but not much cheaper than everywhere else.

·

I've bought three watches from them very recently. All good experiences.

Yes. I hope you do.

There is the crux of the bisquit..."not much cheaper...."

When a watch is priced that way, I will only buy in person where I can examine the watch before buying it, from a store I have already done business with, from the manufacturer's store or a major retailer such as Macy's where returns are not a hassle.

·

Have only had good exeperiences with jomashop

·

I've ordered 2 watches from jomashop and both have been quick and good experiences. I live in the NYC area I did notice that the order information is a bit slow to update but both time my watch arrived 3 to 4 days later

·

I ordered a few from them and a week to start to ship is common. Logistics take time and they don't have Amazon power.

·

If it didn’t say “in stock” they have to source it and it could take a while.

·

I don't think I've experienced extended shipping delays from them, and the only customer service issue (dud product) was dealt with reasonably quickly. I believe I did email for that, not chat, for what it's worth.

I have purchased from them a couple of times but i only order if it is in stock and ready to ship..JMO Enjoy the hobby

As you can see, it is in stock and ships in 1-3 days, but a week has already passed, still awaiting shipment.

·

I’ve ordered from them a lot. If a watch is in stock (ie on their shelves), it’s in your mailbox in 3-5 days. If they have to wait from a supplier, it can be a little while. Longest I’ve waited was 4 weeks I believe. They fulfilled the order, but they had to wait for their shipment to come in.

…cool Orient by the way!

"ships in 1-3 days"

@Scorpiowatchman is correct. If it doesn’t explicitly say “In stock” like in this photo below it means they don’t actually have it. They have to source the watch and expect to ship in 1-3 business days (probably an estimate based on how easy it is for them to get the watch) but they don’t actually have the watch in stock. I’ve purchased from Jomashop twice and had no problems but avoid purchasing watches that don’t explicitly say in stock.

I managed to finally contact them by email. It's on back order, but they can ship it within a week.

·

If it doesn’t say on the listing “want it by Tomorrow choose next day shipping at checkout” it means they don’t have it. It could take weeks, months or actually never with them.

I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with them. Wouldn’t buy except maybe under $500?

I wouldn’t count on “within a week” from them, but good luck! 🍀 I hope you get it soon 🙏🏻

I still have two months until my mother's birthday

·

I’ve purchased from them in the past and have had positive experiences. I would buy from them again. Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t a good one.

·

4 orders from Jomashop. 3 super positive. 1 item took 1.5 months (cologne). If Jomashop has it in the warehouse, ships quickly. BUT IF it's a direct ship from outside the warehouse, youre at the mercy of that direct source. be patient, its a logistical problem. Amazon, they ain't!

·

I have only bought from them once but i did not have an issue.

·

I have made two purchases in the past without a hitch - but that was years ago... I have heard others post negative experiences. What was the method of payment used? Contact your credit card company and start an inquiry. Their lack of response is not acceptable... Good luck.

·

I recently ordered a watch from them. The watch initially showed in stock but was back listed so I had to wait an additional week for it to be shipped. Apart from that it came in perfect working order with box and tags. Overall a decently positive experience.

I did not see that..I would cancel but that is just me...
