This may be the unpopular take but Citizen all day

·

I think the flat links of the PRX and lack of a cyclops window are great assets for the PRX but I prefer the non-textured dial on the citizen. I have a quartz PRX with a dial I think looks great but I can’t dig the waffle.

·

The Citizen has a one eyed monster stuck on the glass so the choice is easy.

·

After having purchased and sold both of them, I have decided to try the new Certina DS 7 with a better case shape. PRX and Tsuyosa looked too large on my 17.5cm wrist. Shipment will arrive today. I am excited about the DS7 and will post a wristshot on WC for sure.

I've recently got a PRX and it is just so pleasing to the eye for me. Absolutely love the look of the bracelet

·

Not even getting into the bang for buck comparison (citizen comes ahead there in my book), actually thing the citizen design appeals more to me, overall. Unfortunately they decided to go the Cyclops route, which just doesn't work for me. The PRX wins on the dials, but that just it. Tried both on, could not get a nice fit with the Tissot, could pull the Tsuyosa off. Unfortunately that pimple on the dial was there, writing both off my book.

That said, both are great watch pieces Alfredo!

·

Those are definitely, without a shadow of doubt, watches.

·

Citizen wins for finishing, prx wins for design

·

The Citizen is better looking imho. Wears better and closer to the wrist, sleek design with more contrasts between brushed and polished areas. Hence my choice.

Thank you Miguel. Agree with you. Citizen has a way much better wrist experience. I personally don’t care much about the cyclops but for all that they do Citizen should have let the crystal clean.

The titanium version is very appealing to me but the Tsuyosa is winning the battle for me due to the pricing mostly.

Enjoy the DS7!

Thx definitely will update! Shall arrive today.. i make some shots and share them also under this thread. Regarding pricing you are right. However I found a good deal on a used one with the turquoise dial. Around 300€ under RSP. So I pulled the trigger.

The Tsuyosa needs so much more love from our community! Price wise, finishing wise, and because it is not using a powermatic movement. I am reading so many articles about it lately that I just can’t justify the cost of the automatic PRX.

·

In my opinion, the PRX is the typical case of a great design on paper, in the window of a shop or in pictures, but on the wrist… might just not be my style, but I’ve tried it a couple if times and it just doesn’t fit, doesn’t feel right at all.

Also the combination of plastic parts and no regulator makes the powermatic a bug no no.

·

I know they are both integrated bracelet watches but the PRX looks more integrated and the Tsuyosa looks more like a regular watch.

For me I'd choose the Tsuyosa

·

I've owned both. Different and similar. The Citizen dial and case are great and great value I prefer the PRX bracelet. I've sold both my Citizens but could buy one of the new color ways in future.

·

The citizen looks a lot more elegant! Only downside is the movement. They should have put a 9... in it!

·

Coming from a former owner of the Citizen Tsuyosa in white, I did not love it. I did get the stale non-sunburst white dial, but it looked cheap. The case looked good, the bracelet was, meh, but something about that dial screamed mediocre. The indices were roughly finished, the dial had too much empty space. Maybe if the case size was 36-38mm it might have worked. I ended up selling it for a quartz PRX 35mm. I'll give my comparison when I get but... I don't recommend the Tsuyosa to anyone with a wrist size of 6.5mm or lower. I'm sure they will make a smaller version in a year. *Personal opinion, don't get crazy lol.

·

Look and finishing to the Tissot, comfort and wearability to the Citizen, Close one but I'd go for the PRX.

The new small seconds Tsuyosa would crush it though! So beautiful!

Love my ice blue PRX. Cyclops window is a no go for me.

·

Easy. Quartz PRX and whatever Citizen you like

·

I love the waffle dial and cyclops-free crystal from the prx, but since the price is twice as expensive, the tsuyosa is good enough for my broke ass

The new versions of the tsuyosa are available with no cyclops and with a small second complication.

Personally I like it just the way it is. Love the cyclops (I really need it 👀). I rather have a clean dial instead of the small seconds option.

Citizen >> Prx

Here it is, such a gorgeous piece. Turquoise on a sun burst dial looks just great! Because of the shape it wears much more comfortable and the bracelet and overall quality is better than a PRX or Tsuyosa.

Look great! 😍 Thanks for the update btw.

And just 300? What a bargain!!

Congrats mate! Hope you enjoy it!

Cost around 500€ I guess RSP is around 800 something. But still a bargain. And one great feature: you can click the end links down if you have a smaller wrist. On the picture endlinks are up. But you can click them down so they align with the wrist. Crazy watch.
