If you can find a NOMOS for that price, or are willing to spend a little more, then I'd say that NOMOS offers the best bang for your buck in watches. And not just german watches.
Mine recently said about the Tudor chrono "it looks very much like your Rolex (Oyster perpetual 36).

Question: does anyone know if the V192 movement featured in the new Seiko speedtimer chronographs have any jewels? Better quality quartz movements tend to have a few, an I was just wondering

It probably doesn't have any jewels.
I'm just debating how close I should get to the retail price. Of course this has the advantage of also donating to a great cause, yet if I don't take it someone else will and the donation will be made.
