Most of watches you see posted on my feed are gone now I sold them all because my fiance left me and she left me with a mountain of debt and I had to file bankruptcy including my palagos which I loved. Most of the watches I have now In fact all of the watches I have now were giving to me by family and friends who know how much I love watches and know how much they mean to me so they they're very special to me these watches that I have now. But I'm working on putting my life back together I'm in bankruptcy and dealing with all that and you know it's going to take time but yeah maybe I'll get to that point where I can get that grill just patience but I'm going to enjoy the watches I have cuz they mean a lot to me. Pleasure to meet you sir
Watch of my dreams! I had one on wrist one time at a jewelry shop. The same place I bought my Pelagos. It was a tight fit It needed a link or two added but I put it on there and I love it I love that watch.
Horrid! Hideous! I am definitely not a watch snob, or any other kind of snob for that matter, but if you own this watch, and actually wear it, we just can't relate🤮
I appreciate that sir and I will wear it with pride and you do so as well It is a great watch there's no doubt about that. You're getting a high quality timepiece for sure
Bro if you want the white I would wait until the while it was back in stock or I would look at some of their other options They got some really cool white dial options that aren't this particular dial texture They got some great Explorer too homages that I probably would have got if I couldn't have got this one. Damn I'm glad I got this one I did It doesn't surprise me the white sold out It's just a bomb ass Watch I love wearing it I love looking at it I love just feeling with it. I'm only real gripe is it needs to be regulated but as far as NH34s go is and seco goes it's definitely within their spec I mean I lose about 20 seconds a day I just set it about a minute ahead so I don't have to fool with it for a week or so. I also wish they had red tipped or red coated the GMT hand instead of red tipping the second hand cuz it's hard you can hardly even see it on the second hand but it definitely would have benefited on the GMT hand it would have made it stand out it would have looked really good. The GMT hand is a darker sort of gunmetal rather than the silver of the minute an hour hands. I'm worried you going to be disappointed with the dial color though bro I really am. You're going to love the finishing of the wash though That's where it really stands out The finishing is amazing and the tolerances of it is absolutely spot on San Martin did such a great job on his watches. It's like a cross between a grand Seiko a Rolex Explorer 2 and I don't know maybe some kind of Omega with the lugs and the bracelet. I don't mean to be pessimistic I hope you love your watch there's a lot to love about the watch, That that dial color just didn't appeal to me, That doesn't mean you won't absolutely love it. This watch was a gift from my father so I don't give a shit if it cost twice the amount of the watch to have it serviced and keep working It's going to stay with me forever even if I just have to pop a new movement in whatever I have to do to keep the watch alive and functioning I'm going to do that and you know pass it on to other family once I'm gone.
I have to honestly say, nove owned 2 other Invictas in the past, and they were actually the same watch. I ordered the first one from Amazon and immediately the crown must have cross-threaded or it was just getting really grainy and hard to screw down to the point where it was rubbing blisters on my thumb and forefinger trying to screw it down so I return the watch or for a replacement. I got an identical replacement and had the exact same problem with the crown threads The watch would not seal all the way to the case and the crown threads were hard to screw down and the bezel would barely turn. But this 1953 has performed as well as any Seiko I've ever owned. The bezel action Is superb, but the insert is a hair off center. The crown and threads function perfectly consistently and I think I helped with a Little o-ring grease and some waxed dental
floss. The bracelet is absolutely great except for the pressed clasp, I always prefer ailled class but for the price you're paying it's a very good bracelet. And in my personal opinion, the finishing is perfectly fine for a $80-$100 watch far exceeds a comparable brand like Pagani design
