Bvlgari - this is what I want to see from W&W

I know we limit most of the chatter on this app to “what we will buy” or more accurately “how much we hate Rolex” (but secretly would buy one if we could…even after writing several paragraphs about how the failure of a brand Rolex has personally offended me)

I, for one, love seeing watches. Even if I will (or don’t want to) never acquire (be able to afford) them. Especially when they are so freaking cool. Like this one ☝🏻

What an engineering marvel!

So, when @JaeBust @TheHoroSexual @Adi365 or @KoreanAllfather get one, please guys…post and maybe let me see it in the metal.

I would add @got_time_1 but it’s a tad too thin for him and it’s not gold enough for @gmtminx or plain enough for @Lauren

I agree ! It’s like the auto show. I probably won’t purchase a Bugatti but they’re fun as hell to look at

Yes. This is literally why I always find it funny when people post on here that they don’t want to see people flexing their watches. I want to see all of your watches from the most expensive to the most gawdy. I’m here for the show. Wow me. 😂

Love how thin it looks! Otherwise too complicated for me. 🤯

Even though it makes no sense, I would legit be concerned about flexing it too much, causing damage to the movement.

Sometimes my wrist takes a lot of torque, and even if the movement is designed to be sturdy, how much odd angle torque is it rated for?

But it's really a moot point since if I had that $$, I'd be at an auction for a Milsub or Tornek-Rayville lololol 🤣 😜.

But I agree, from afar, it's always fun to see the crazy stuff.

I think they need to get you one to field test

I would totally do that.

I would also legit be nervous, and that's a fact 😂.

·

Agreed, that's what I like to see as well 👏. Have you seen the Piaget altiplano with worlds thinnest tourbillon?

·

I have straps thicker than this

Same as Shot Show too.

Look at all of the high end 2011 style handguns, coming out with Glock and Sig compatible magazine wells. At some point that technology becomes viable and cheaper for all, since everyone wants a piece of the cash cow.

The FAST Unity optic mounts as another example. They brought back a taller height, and now more and more manufacturers are also doing their own take, at all price points. Benefits me the buyer for sure.

Doesn't mean everyone can afford the thinnest watch, but it proves it can be done, and maybe some of that tech filters down to other lines, or other brands thin their lineups down.

Case in point the Tudor GMT.

Yeah. It’s bonkers. It’s the same size as their original model but with a turb.

It’s amazing

I think there’s too much focus on the retail pieces, and rightfully so, it’s a tradeshow. But, a lot of these wonders are overlooked. Honestly, this is the reason why I like the Jacob pieces. I would never wear one. I could never afford one. But they are so cool to look at.

Awaiting the “Bvlgari is a fashion brand mob” to appear yet again like demented moths to the flames…

I love the fact that they took so much off the RM thickness; at these scales that is effectively a football pitch. Piaget eerily quiet, are they busy on this? Whose beer should we hold?

Exactly 💯 and it's actually wearable! Give me the weird unnecessary super complicated stuff. Let me get my geek on 🤣

The Rolex Deepsea should learn from this. LMAO

This ain’t a watch, it’s just the advertised wonder.

Actually. It would be awesome to see them next to each other

·

Absolutely, I'll make sure to snag some wrist shots for everyone this weekend! And it's truly a compliment to be mentioned alongside such esteemed collectors. I'm flattered and grateful for the nod. Looking forward to sharing the experience with you all!

·

Is there a crystal on this watch?

·

I've been getting a bit bored with watches lately, but novelties like this help keep my interest alive. Totally blown away by the ability to make something like this. Definitely puts the "wonder" into Watches & Wonders.

I've considered adding an Octo Finissimo to my collection, but thought that the thin 5mm size (which is thinner than many of my leather straps) would make it too fragile. Compared to this one, the regular one looks like it's built like a freaking tank.

·

No way…Invicta is god tier

If we are referring to the Hindu pantheon then yes I agree, it is the lowest tier of gods 🤣

I want to see a video of this being assembled/made. That would be cool.

The most accurate description of all this

·

Truly incredible.

·

I worry about breaking it

·

It is a fascinating watch for sure. I would be afraid to touch it our of fear of breaking it, it is so thin it LOOKS extremely delicate.

"The lady does protest too much" 😉

No I seriously don’t like Rolex. Blame bad taste If it helps. I mean look at the god-awful neon signs I do like. Now vintage Omega divers on the other hand……

Some of you guys have a personal vendetta against Rolex and I find that hilarious. We should all be hating invicta 🤣

For Invicta I'm just bored. But occasionally they give me a really good laugh. Some of their designs are just hilarious.
