My first ‘proper’ watch was the SMP and it was very much an impulse buy. Only after I bought it did I start watching videos and reading up on it and it’s story. That led me down the rabbit hole..
I’m happy I bought it and love the watch, so I wouldn’t do anything different. I still wear it a few times a week and it is my, for want of a better word, ‘beater’ of the watches I own as it’s the toughest.
Thankfully I’m not alone. Never liked the aesthetics of a nato and never wore one for longer than 3 mins.
LOVE that watch. I want it so badly lol. When my AD told me it was discontinued I almost shed tears.
Enjoy the summer. It can’t be worse than a British one 😂
