Came across this model with 20% off from Breitling directly.
Anyone have any experience or info to share?
I like the design and wondering what alternatives are out there for this style of watch..
Thanks in advance. ๐๐ผ

For the pilot style arabic numerals, you could look at the Longines Spirit collection.
SecondedโฆLongines Spirit is probably as close as youโll find.

@JBird7986 @ZZ9PLURAL thanks. Just briefly checked online and I remember trying those on early last year. It didnโt leave me wanting one even though it was pleasant to hold and wear.
I think this breitling has a little more going for it with the bezel and stuff. I left the store very much tempted.

Fair enough! Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants!
The Aviator 8 is my favorite Breitling / pilot's watch, hands-down! I have owned the Aviator 8, the Premier B01, and the AVI 1953 re-edition, and the Aviator 8 was the perfect watch. I really regret having sold it. I'm half thinking of re-buying it.
It's thin, it's comfortable, it's got classic styling, the friction bezel is so smooth and silky. One of my all time favorite watches.

Thatโs the kind of positive reinforcement I was after ๐๐
I only discovered it this weekend and I have to say it took me by surprise. I was considering a Superocean but after seeing this, plans may change. I just wanted to see if there were other similar styled watches that Iโm also unaware of before making a purchase.
I'm pretty taken with the 8! Not sure you need to look any further.
The Aviator 8 as the day-date version was my first true luxury purchase. Itโs also the only watch I regret selling. It wore very comfortable on the metal bracelet, and it was regulated to run within 2 seconds per day which blew my mind back then, coming from a +20spd Seiko 5 Sports ๐

I hear you. But at ยฃ2.5k I assume there would be worthy rivals.

I didnโt see it on the bracelet. Nor with a date. That looks very cool.

If I was shopping there would be other options just because of my budget
