Looks fine to me. It’s not very innovative though. Also, the name isn’t good, especially writing in cursive like that, it looks a bit cheap

·

@AussieWatchIdiot thank you for your comment I appreciate it and do you think it looks better without one or with a square one ?

·

@towbyus Thank you for you comment and I can see how you see that but I would like to ask any ideas if your willing of course to share,I look forward to hearing from you!

TresorWatch

For a start, Tresor is already used from a Watch name perspective. I personally don’t like large script on watches & certainly not cursive. Proportionally it should barely be larger than the indices.

·

@towbyus thank you for you comment I'll take that in consideration but the font was based off vintage motorbikes but I'll do research and see what I can come up with thank you again I appreciate your thoughts!!

·

@AussieWatchIdiot I like the watch without it but I the movement I'm using has a Date wheel and don't know if people like ghost hacking?

·

I'm ok with that date window, it's pretty much the same as on my Timex and I like that it isn't the standard square.

@Cantaloop thank you for you input I appreciate it and also nice watch

·

Just my two cents but no date is best for clean lines and balanced. I like circular pips but many aren’t a fan also . Nice design, good luck with it too .

·

I think it looks great all around. Love the triangle at 12, and the date in a circle at 6 really looks good.

·

No Date rules

·

I prefer 6 o’clock dates, so good job there. I would make the window larger, easier to read and raise it up away from the minute track. The date and time are two separate functions and shouldn’t interfere with each others legibility.

·

One of the things I’ve learned over time is that a date is a must. I rely on it too much not to have it on a watch.

·

Why not date at 12? That index is already different from the rest. Jacob Jensen watches use this for example. Would also allow for a bigger date.

·

The script is OK but I can't read it.

Dates on manual watches are fine IMO because you have to wind it every day anyways.

But an automatic or quartz, then you are yanking out the stem, just to Futz with getting the date right, grinding it around because you overshot, adding needless wear on the movement.

I hate dates, but some people need them for work. YMMV.

·

Go crazy and put the date window at 10

·

I prefer no date on a watch because the symmetry is better on the dial. If a no date option isn't available then 4:30 or 6:00 location is preferred.

·

Thank you all for your comments I appreciate it ,I will take all into consideration!!!

·

Personally no date if I’m going to build.

Awesome post! 🤩

Thank you for sharing this with us

Keep up the good work 🙌🏾

@Mr.Santana thank you for your comment,I'll definitely keep up the work as well as share it!!!

Date at 6 is good.

The lugs look a little long in relation to the case-size, which can make a watch less wearable. 47-48mm is a sweetspot on a 39-40mm case.

The Hour markers look like little lightbulbs!

Not sure on the diamond@12. But that's purely subjective.

·

@XplusYplusZ thank you for your comment the watch is 40mm with a lug to lug of 47mm and the diamond is due to the name as well as pearl as the model because the name means treasure!!
