What is your favorite and go to strap type?

Which is the most comfortable and also versatile to use watch strap that you probably own and use for pretty much any of your watches?

Depending on the weather: NATO for winter time and/or diving, bracelet or leather for work.

I voted nato and variants, but my favorite is canvas.

"NATO is life, life is NATO"

  • James Bond, probably

Anything but NATO or perlon.

Also, only quality NATOs. There are some shitty ones out there!

Good point. Can you recommend any specific canvas strap?

Barton Watch Bands makes a nice canvas strap. The Bertucci G-Type canvas strap is a great Zulu strap, but it is only available in 22mm. Ritche and Archer also make decent canvas straps.

Owt but leather (veggie since 1982), but depends on the weather.

Instead of leather I use sailcloth 😊👍🏻

Nice. Are there any good brands you can recommend for sailcloth straps or are you making your own straps?

Ah, I lack the necessary skills .

For top of the range I recommend Artem "loopless" , tho that's mainly because of the OMEGA style clasp that puts the tail under the strap for a very neat effect.

The conventional buckled versions are made to the same standard but are substantially cheaper, tho still at the "premium" end of the market.

For a less pricey option, then the Watchgecko ones aren't bad.

Hope that helps 👍🏻

Here's my Artems (loopless is the black one in the middle). Really do elevate whatever you put them on 😉

NATO and rubber for summer, leather for not summer, steel for everything.

·

Leather for me.

Only ever had 1 watch that I kept on its bracelet being my titanium casio. My plastic gshock and rubber strap smartwatch are great for sport but I don't like the material for day to day wear

·

I wish I could choose, but every time I think I have an official opinion on this, it changes! Mostly I’d say leather but lately I’m into rubber and bracelets so 🤷‍♂️

·

NATO started strong, then the US work up this morning with Bracelets 😂🦅

·

I usually prefer the bracelet but some watches lend themselves to switching things up. My Baltic Aquascaphe especially looks great on a NATO, sailcloth or tropic strap.

·

I couldn’t choose because I’m actually confused between bracelet and nato. If you have asked literally a week ago I would have confidently said “bracelet for sure!!!” Andit has been for years! But after trying out the nato on the right watches as you saw yourself today man… it’s really heard to pick a favorite between them. All I can say is that i dislike rubber bracelets. It’s not my character but, maybe not for long? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Perlon.

Totally understand. Things are fluent. Some watches just shout for a bracelet or sometimes it is maybe because we are just used to see them with bracelets. I’m strong in a NATO strap phase these days and enjoy various watches with nice natos.

That’s exactly how I am this week!

Tried the Pagani Design submariner homage on a nato and the ADDIESDIVE flieger is the second one.

I literally got my watch boxs, sat on my station and started checking which would I wanna try on a nato so more is coming 😂

Very nice. Would love to see some pictures over the next days. 😎

NATO and Rubber for me-i just sweat too much and I've gone away from bracelets. We do carry this hybrid strap which will be interesting to try out in spring/fall.(have only tried it wintertime) The top is silicone and the bottom (to the skin) is leather-its funky but neat

·

Bracelet preferably, then thin leather straps. I really like textured straps like saffiano or epsom
