Any favorite type of bracelet?

According to that recent pool, it looks like the majority of us prefers the classy bracelet to keep your watch around your arm. Question is, do you prefer any specific type of bracelet or isn’t that so important and you enjoy the one your watch came with?

it's been mesh week on here, but I voted oyster.

I voted jubilee but the odd thing is I don't have many in that style. Is that why I like them? It's the same crazy way of thinking that drives the next watch purchase I guess. You kind of like and want what you don't have. 🤪

Agreed. I so totally understand this 😊

You are right. Unfortunately there is a four options limit on polls. I do like beads of rice bracelets however needed to stay within the guard rails and possibilities here.

Lately I prefer straps like on the Blancpain fifty fathoms.

·

Mesh & Komfit, got a Bonklip on the way & anticipate I'll like it (obviously or I wouldn't have bought it 🤣)

Only bracelet I really don't like is the Jubilee.

Beads of rice bracelets has been growing on me lately

Yeah, bonklip really has a bit of a nice and cool retro vibe 👍

I have both oyster and jubilee and I think that, even though they are both comfortable AF, there’s nothing more comfortable than a jubilee bracelet. I sometimes borrow my father-in-law’s vintage datejust, which is on a jubilee also, and that is one of the most comfortable watches I’ve ever worn.

Thanks for sharing, that’s great to hear. I actually lack experience with a jubilee. Sounds like I need to give it a try 👍

You should do it. My wife also loves them, so it’s not just me 🤣. She also wears a very old Tag Heuer F1 that has a jubilee-ish bracelet and she thinks the same thing about it. Something about having a bracelet with more pieces to its link system makes them more flexible and comfortable.

Beads of rice, easy.

Oyster for sporty and jubilee for dressy! But i have been liking mesh alot lately, but these 2 are simply more iconic to ignore.

Agreed, nicely summarized

I like and wear all the above .

Yeah, they all kind of have their purpose

It really depends on the watch and quality of the bracelet.

Agreed, there are good and bad ones of almost any kind.

Jubilee, comfortable, eye catching and makes any watch look more expensive than it really is

Agreed, that’s a good point.

·

Leather.

·

Voted jubilee, though I only have one so far … the GMT Master II jubilee disappears on the wrist and is extremely comfortable.

Beads of rice isn't on the options🙄

BOR

Jubilee

Oyster

Omega style mesh

Milanese...won't wear it. Ever.

In order of preference now that I’ve had enough variation to have an opinion:

  1. Oyster

  2. Presidential

  3. Bullet

Still, what bracelet comes with a watch usually will not be a deal maker or breaker for me. I trust that the designers have their reasoning for pairing a particular style with a watch design. I may get other bracelets (and straps) to swap in and out, but the original bracelet always has its place.

·

Vintage Jubilee, modern Oyster

·

Imo, the “oyster or jubilee” debate is way too narrow and has been done to death. There are so many other styles out there that are great. And even within the debate about Rolex style bracelets, no one talks about the presidential bracelet

Beads of rice, easy.

Imo, it’s the most elegant.

Btw, I finished the 13th Doctor!
