Yeah, hardly anyone dresses up anymore. I never had a job where I had to wear a tie, but now that I'm retired, my wife has to make sure I shower every few days.
I don't think so. I only own one 34mm and I think it looks fine. Your's looks just right. In fact my 34mm Timex Marlin manual wind is one of my top five favorite children.
Great accomplishment and very disciplined sticking to your guns. The watch with that strap is beautiful!!
