What’s your favorite insert?

There’s too many options to make a poll. What’s your favorite bezel insert? Ceramic, aluminum, fully lumed or just a pip, 12 hour, 24 hour, 60 minute… so many options. Which one is your favorite?

Yes. 😂

If the proverbial choose or die, ceramic, fully lumed, countdown/count-up with a 12 hour. (This doesn't exist anywhere but it'd be my favorite)

I’ve recently got a watch with a sapphire bezel and I love it !

Ceramic and steel bezel

·

I barely ever use the things. I like plain steel. That Vostok one where it is just dots and dashes would be fine with me.

·

Aluminium on more toolish watches like Sinn or Explorer II.

Ceramic on more premium-looking watches like SMP300m.

60min/12h/24h - doesn’t matter as long as it fits watch’s intended purpose.

Lume - pip only.

Morse code?

A pristine aluminum is just. So. Sweet.

Not many I know of have used the dual style Nth does. It's definitely different.

Morse code?

I never looked closely enough to notice that uh there are twelve evenly spaced round pips and uh little arc segments in between.

A fluted Turnograph bezel is nice too.

For not a lot of $, the aluminum bezels on the Imperial RoyalGuard is 👌🏻.

Sapphire bezels are my favourite recently.

Countdown bezels! I can’t think of a more practical bezel…

I only have one function bezel and it lacks an insert, it's full steel. It also lacks a ratcheting mechanism, sadly.

Still: I prefer 60-minute countup with just the pip lumed.
