New Prospex Release, Thoughts?

The white one is beautiful too, and it comes with the bracelet. 

I'm glad that the black one comes on a Seiko divers rubber strap, since it's the one I like the best and I don't own one of those soft rubber Seiko straps. 

It does. According to Fratello, it seems that after reissuing the 62MAS and Willard, now it was time for the 6105-8000, such a cool piece to reissue. 

I'm usually not a fan of the date at 4:30 but from the looks of these pictures this one is very well executed and unintrusive. Nice and clean design, I think they did a great job.

Looks very nice, it's hard to find an original 6105-8000/9 in good condition as a lot of them have moisture damage. Not sure about the position of the date but at least it's vertically aligned which makes it look a bit better!

Wow, both are stunning in the photos, but the black one looks better to me. Can't wait to check them out!

They are lovely but the price is eye watering! With that budget the list of amazing divers you could buy instead is pretty long?

It doesn't look bad to me as it adds to the sporty character of the watch, but here you have it without the X (it doesn't look bad either):

The price is right in line with their other Prospex heritage releases. 62MAS, MM200 reduced and Willards are all in the 1,000-1,4000 price range. I've owned the Tudor BB58, handled and worn the Omega SMP300 a few times as well as owned a couple different MM200 reduced models, a 62MAS model AND most recently the SLA057. I personally think the price you pay for these heritage Prospex models is worth it (especially if you're a fan of the design and history). If you don't like them at retail, you can easily find them on the secondary market for 200-300 dollars off and at $800-$1,000 I especially think they are worth it. 

Prospex are a whole sub addiction of collecting! This watch is beautiful.  I have not owned a Prospex I don't love & I want like 10 more . LX is next level as well BUT this watch just looks like simple perfection.
