Thanksgiving piece
What watches are you wearing for thanksgiving? Did anyone buy anything special specifically for thanksgiving? Aliexpress just had their 11.11 sale and I have a few coming so I hope they get here before thanksgiving so I can wear one or maybe all of them throughout the day 🤦🏾♂️😅 lol.

Why ,in the name of John Alden, would I buy a Chinese watch watch (not that there's anything wrong with that) to celebrate an annual Holiday?

Wear? I'll probably carry a pocket watch. I won't need it. The host will surely announce that it's very late and that we should be on our way around 4:30pm.
For our Canadian Thanksgiving, I wore my CW C63 Sealander. I posted a photo next to the Prime rib we were about to eat.
I did bought a Chinese watch, but I didn't buy them from AliX. Turns out Baltany (or one of their shell companies, who knows) have a storefront at another e-commerce vendor.
Bought a homage of the VC 1921 American Historique for even cheaper than the AliX price (heh heh heh, hail Asian cheapness!) and it should arrive in a day or two.

I usually just wear a pocket watch, since my arms are in the oven. But since my partner now has to hook the turkey out of the oven for treatment every 40 minutes (long story) instead of me, just something colorful. Probably this. Not worn it in a while.

Its a re-issue. I have two of the original, but one is shot, the other is unworn but needs service. It was a 1972 only Timex 62.

Well in my case, poverty.
I'm cooking so probably my G-Shock 6900 or SKX007. Then for dinner I'll change, first thing that came to mind was the Seiko SARY057 so I'll go with that.

I have bought enough watches recently to call one my Thanksgiving watch. My Momentum Sea Quartz will get here Wednesday. It reminds me of my dad, so in that way, it might fit the bill.

I got the tropic strap. My dad was a huge Magnum, PI/Tom Selleck fan. I remember watching that show with my dad during the 80s.
Sitting at work today and it is very quiet. So what do I do? I go online and buy a new watch. So probably the day after Thanksgiving I should get my new Citizen Titanium Tough Eco-Drive with a green dial. I don't need a new watch and my wife will kill me when she finds out, but Macy's had it too cheap to resist. Us there is a Blue Angel alarm clock thrown in on the deal as well.
This hobby is a sickness I tell you.
