NWA: HAMILTON Ventura Edge - DUNE LIMITED EDITION

-Left side is regular digital display

-Right side is the display with the blue light going through the watch and lighting up the numbers - Looks waaaayy better in person. This photo does NOT do it justice.

This is the coolest watch I’ve ever seen. I love movies, I love black watches, and I like watches that stand out. This is the ONE! So happy to own this. My AD also gave me a cool discount for being a longtime customer. I’m all in with this watch. What a conversation starter, and boy do I love talking about watches all day haha. Extremely satisfied, and the way it fits my wrist with its proportions are perfect. Looks so sweet!! And the blue that shoots through the watch when pushing the crown, and the circuit board and design on the dial. Not only is it spot on for the movie, but a unqique design aesthetic that makes the watch look amazing on its own. Connected to the movie or not. And that’s what it is. The movies are great, but I didn’t get this watch because I’m a movie fan. I got this watch, because I thoroughly enjoy every milimeter and inch of it, top to bottom, left to right, inside and out!! The movie is just an added cool talking piece. In which cinema and movies are in my trio of favorite things. It goes, watches, sports and movies; in that order!

Inclusivity and variety of tastes on here is a special thing, and I’m thankful to be apart of it, and also thankful to feel free and enthusiastic to share my watch journey and desires along the way with all of you. Cheers!

Thanks for reading!

It definitely looks very futuristic

I'm a huge sci-fi geek so this is one I may splurge on

·

·

This looks pretty awesome

·

could he be the one?

·

I own another 'movie' watch - the Murph, and I enjoy it as a watch first and as a movie collectible second. I would have bought it without the Interstellar connection, Hamilton make a fantastic watch. Enjoy your Dune watch!!

Does it come with a power ring?

Thanks my friend! And I love the murph. Beautiful watch. And same! In fact, I haven’t seen any of the movies, nor did I read any books! Haha

God, we're uneducated 😂 all joking aside, the Dune films are worth a look.

I believe so! As cool as the box and papers are, I didn’t even get a chance to check it out fully. Still in awe with the watch!

It's a great watch, enjoy the films!

I’m not a fan of the original #hamilton Ventura but this dune edition is very cool! 😎

·

I love the Ventura but I like the Elvis 80 best. I do like these but the cost of limited editions like this are too much for me. I really like these though.

·

Very nice. Just remember not to shout, "Lisan Al-Gaib!" at just about everything and don't overeat spice. 😛

Is it heavy? How does it fit for a small wrist? Does it chrono or do date or anything? Battery life projection?

Tell me everything! I was/am really torn about getting this one!

Not heavy at all, a nice general watch weight to it. I have a 7.25 wrist size, but I’m confident the case shape will fit a lot of wrists, depending on size of course. Warranty and just shows the digital time, which I love!

Hey Rell,

Congrats on your new watch, that’s an amazing looking Hamilton Dune! I love digital watches myself and this one - along with the Pulsar - are such strong offerings from Hamilton.

Wear it in good health bud! 🍻

·

Not a fan of the new Dune iteration so that tie in does nothing for me. Otherwise, a bit too gimicky for me.

But if you enjoy it, and it seems you do, congrats.

That’s the beauty of different tastes. What works for you may not work for me and vice versa. It would suck if we all liked exactly the same thing. Enjoy your watches in good health and I’ll do the same. Cheers! 🍻

Congratulations!! I saw a lot of mixed feelings on WatchCrunch when it was announced but I’m on the side of “man this looks cool!” 😎

Honestly the coolest watch I’ve ever put on my wrist! I wasn’t sold until I put it on my wrist in person. Then I thought about it for a few days, and went in and made it happen! Without seeing the movies btw lol
