This is the Islander Manhasset 36mm (42mm lug-to-lug) and I am incredibly in awe with the fit and finishing of this watch. This is the first time I’ve ever purchased a watch online, but I knew if I were going to do it, I knew it would be from an outstanding brand within the watch community. You can tell that Marc and his team at Long Island are passionate about watchmaking and ensuring that watch lovers of all price ranges can enjoy a quality watch. Especially at an affordable price. What if I told you that he’s currently selling this watch at $285 on his website? You wouldn’t believe me would you. Well guess what, that’s exactly what I paid for it!! I highly recommend Long Island Watch and I am forever a dedicated customer.
I have watches that I love that are “pricier” I guess, but they will never ever stop me from wearing a watch that most can afford.
Watches that stand out with its remarkable quality, at this price range, gets me excited about the fact that this can include everyone into the watch hobby and passion. These are the pieces that get me the most excited about this hobby, and they also tend to be the watches that get the most wrist time. Great watch in a sweet size. I get the same buzz with affordable watches - yes I check out the $1k brands but always end up buying sub $200 watches which nail everything for me and I enjoy them immensely with no regrets. My bank account loves it too and no run-ins with my wife 😀

Yeah it’s just mind-blowing of how much watch you can get in sub $200 watches. And yes, my wife says all the time if I like affordable ones, then just buy those instead of going to 4 digit prices 😂😂. Definitely keeps the household happy lol
