Your Last Watch

Let's play a game -- you get only one watch for the rest of your life.  What watch would you pick (yes, you have to buy it) and why?

Mine obviously from the the photo would be the Rolex Oyster 41 sunburst blue.  I think it is the perfect watch for casual and dress.  The simple but attractive dial seems to go with every occasion.  Love that watch and someday (hopefully soon - waiting) it will be mine.

CW C63 White dial.

150m WR, SW200-1, 39mm diamater, 20mm lug width, sapphire, and under $800 CAD.

The price matters, because if I lose/break it, I can buy another the same day without thinking about it. I've mentioned it before, but my philosophy with watches is; if you can't afford to buy it twice, you can't afford to buy it.

1 watch... not familiar with the term 😆 .... maybe id keep it simple with my indestructible G Shock with negative display,  200m wr, solar power and multiband 6 automatic time 😁

Introducing - 2021 A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Honeygold Lumen 142.055

I'd only have 1 kidney left, but that's the watch I would sell the kidney for.

From the title I thought you were asking what watch we would get if we could only add one more to our collections but it seems to be choosing a one watch collection!
For me it would have to be either a Cartier Tank or a Rolex DJ/DD, I'd sacrifice toolwatches/sportwatches to make sure that the dress and (smart) casual parts are covered

If I was only allowed to buy one more, and that was the only watch I had in the world:

It is the best summation of what I like, have, desire, and floss. Could have bought the reissue as well… another kick myself moment.

I like your choices Phillippe.tk 😉

I could see myself spending five figures for this watch, if it was to be my only one.

This will be my only watch if I can only have one. Completely understand this is not the most versatile choice, but cannot resist that blue.

Definitely the Moonwatch! It goes good with anything, has an awesome history, and is priced well.

Only time will tell... But as of now its going to be the SBGD207

·

An Omega Aqua Terra, I think. Versatility and amazing finishing.

An impossible task, but I'll have to go with my LUC Chopard Lunar One perpetual. The L.U.C. 1.96QP movement designed by Michel Parmigiani is incredible and as long as I can take along my Wolf watch winder it will keep perfect time/day/date/month and moon phase.

Our OP has exceptional taste. I picked up a new OP less than two years ago, the perfect capper for my collection.

Go for it!

If the Oyster 41 blue were my last watch, I would be satisfied.

Mine would be the VC Overseas Tourbillon. Looks beautiful, it isn't as "hype" as the Royal Oak and Nautilus, has a very gorgeous blue dial, and the tourbillon is just moving art. Oh, and yeah, it comes with 2 extra straps, a rubber and a leather strap that you can actually change by yourself. Need I say more? 😍

The perfect watch.

For me it has to be a Chronograph. I’m one of the dudes, that uses it multiple times a day for timing my tea, espresso, the food in the oven, etc…

If it was my last watch, I want it to be reliable and serviceable for many many years. It should also have timeless look, else I might get tired of it.

I‘d go for an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch (which I already own)

·

Sinn 556i. I don't own it yet, but it's the No.1 on the list right now. It's just so cool, versatile and over engineered. Love it.

Same here for me. Has to be a Grand Seiko Spring Drive variant.

Moser Pioneer would suit me fine

Probably my 38mm black dial AquaTerra. It just works on every type of strap (rubber, metal, gator, leather, nato) and dressed up and down.

Priced well, I'm not so sure about that. But my favorite watch of all time and my choice as well.

I couldn't wear it if I was anywhere near a body of water. But I think that gets compensated with how awesome it is.
