Aqua Terra Green vs Railmaster Denim

Debating what my next big watch purchase may be and would appreciate y’alls input/thoughts on two possibilities. Between the Aqua Terra green dial and the Railmaster denim, if it was your money and your wrist which would you chose…and why?

I like the look of AT better and prefer green over blue for watch dials. My fav is Diver 300m green, though😊

Got the Blue SMP before the Green came out. Would have been tough to chose between the two if both had been an option!

I've been lusting after that AT green for almost a year now. Hopefully my daughter finishes her grad school next year and I will by myself this watch as a present for her graduation.

·

I do like the Railmaster but the AT wins between the two.

·

Between those two I'd pick the AT, it's just a better watch from its looks and finishing to its updated movement, a better Gada watch. The railmaster was designed as a tool watch, its looks might not work for all occasions.

·

Denim all day , hell I want the denim strapped Patek if only I can win lotto :)

·

The green AT for me. I love the design, colour and versatility. Railmaster less generic for sure but just doesn’t do it for me

·

This is tough. I have the Railmaster in denim, but I think you go AT here

·

I’d get the Railmaster. The AT was my grail watch, I still like it but I’m more drawn to the Railmaster these days.

·

Just not keen on that particular green. Otherwise, the Aquaterra.

·

Both! Or rather, all four:

Railmaster (denim)

Seamaster diver (seaweed)

Aquaterra (lavender)

Speedmaster 57 (red)

·

The AT, because it comes with a bracelet. And i think a 38 (AT) fits this style better than a 40mm (RM).

·

Please don’t be influenced by the vote. Make sure you get the one you really want. Both are stunning.

I have a blue SMP and a hesalite Speedy. Was kinda thinking Railmaster so as to complete the Seamaster, Speedmaster Railmaster trilogy!

Seeing as i bought the Railmaster in real life, the rail master. Its a great unassuming watch and unless you are wearing a tuxedo every day, it can be dressed up for work or down imo. Love that its brushed and not very blingy.

Alas the green teak dial AT is 41 only. If it came in 38 this poll would moot!

It’s a coin toss for me between to two. Just looking for different perspectives, maybe something I hadn’t considered about either.

Green if money isn't an issue 100%

·

I'm an old school Railmaster fan, this current iteration does nothing for me sadly

·

The AT green is arguing favourite watch. I wish it was in a 38mm but I’ve tried it on at the jeweler and it wears decent on my 6.5” wrist. I actually bought my Pitzmann II in green specifically because it gives me AT vibes.

It seems it comes also as a 38mm. I like this one a lot! Maybe (one of) the best everyday watches? Tough, right size, beautiful, nice movement, waterproof etc etc..

·

Not remotely close for me, the green teak dial AT is one of the best GADA watches out there. It's also favorite watch - so I am very biased.

Thanks, I’ve missed that. Will have to go back and check to US site. If the 38mm green teak dial is available in the US market that’s certainly a point in its favor!

Wow! New release! Literally my only “issue” with the Pitzmann II is that I wish it was a 38mm. Too bad I can’t afford the Omega

Agreed. My two pennys worth. The AT is a beautiful watch. My son has one. But it doesn’t know if it’s a tool watch or a dress watch. The highly polished surfaces and the bracelet scratch up very easily. The RM is a tool watch. A fine looking one buts a tool watch. It’s also been discontinued which makes it soon to be unavailable new. I’d go for the latter. Let us know what you decide.

Looks like the 38mm is a new release. And a very tempting one at that. I can do 41, but for this style of watch I think a 38 would suit me better.

Time to call my AD, see if they have these in stock so I can get eyes on.

Thanks Pieter!

Two things about the AT that give me pause…the polished bracelet links and the butterfly clasp. But such a gorgeous watch!
