That is why most of us are here and not there. Pay no attention to that idiot, clearly trolling based on his follow-up:
As a person with more than a handful of Rolex I can tell you he could not be further from the truth. Just a dude in his stepmom's basement looking for attention and hoping a Rolex will one day bring it. The lesson: Do not engage with dopes on YouTube.
Thank you that was a good read. My google searches about zelos meteorite dials would align with your findings but yours also had added information. ๐ฅฐ
Let's hope that all that info is true. I dont mind a "lower quality" meteorite as long as it is a meteorite. ๐
These people are terrible but I sort of love the oblivious lack of self-awareness they have. It reeks of Old Economy Steve boomerism topped with the presumption that everyone else's goal in life is that one brand of watch (the serious one, as evidenced by the deficient sense of humor in many adherents).
What''s interesting about these commenters is that it is they are 94+% Rolex fanbois, maybe tinged with a few Omega fans and <1% other. It's never someone with a Patek or Brequet or TAG or whatnot coming in to give dis-tracks in the form of a Dave Ramsey budget sermon.

Admiration from men isn't something I chase.
And married to the finest woman I know, IMO and YMMV or course. ๐คช๐ค๐ป๐

Right? Sadly, as much as I love Rolex watches there is something so sad about someone who thinks a material object will suddenly open previously closed doors for them, not realizing it is not the lack of watch/car/etc holding them back, it is their charming personality and disposition.

Well, I guess I'll start lifting weights instead now. When people see how ripped I am, they'll know that I rule! Men will want to be me and women will want to sleep with me!
In seriousness, thanks for pointing out that these are people are full of it and duck any challenge to verify their asserted possession or, even worse, they are literal whackos whose entire identity is the fetish object for which they monomaniacally slaved away. Other people just don't assign such mystical powers to things.
Itโs such a shitty comment, everybodyโs situation is different. The Zelos (or Zolos ๐) might be a watch that guy has saved for and saving up for 5-10 years to maybe get the Rollie is not really a valid argument

To be accurate Rolex is not all that great. Is Rolex a good watch yes but itโs mainly the brand and hype. There are many other brands that are better and much cheaper.
As a dedicated collector with watches that cost from $20 to over $100K, my considered opinion is this - the guys a tool, a great wobbling raging tool, with limited social skills and an abiding hatred for the world around him. A Zelos is an equally fine choice over a Rolex (actually, Anything is a valid choice over Anything Else) - people who troll forums to post this sort of stuff are bascially Wโs and need to be laughed at repeatedly and often, at every opportunity. Wow. I feel better now.

Forget that fool, can't even spell the company right.
Might be reading too much into one snippet but it isn't his money.
My take: Stan Wilson sounds like someone I would avoid.

Always get what you like and can afford. Youโre wearing it. Enjoy.
Stop buying Toyotas so you can get a Porshe
I definitely take that as a snob comment.
FWIW, in response to your initial question on that forum, perhaps this link may help:

I just wish @stanwilson7040 had said why he thinks Rolox is preferable over Zolos for a meteorite dial. ๐คฃ
I have both Rolex and Zelos in my collection. Several of each.
But what you like!
Oh gawd. Stan Stan Stan
Who else looked to see if Stan Wilson is on WC?

There's a difference between being a snob and a wโ, and this muppet is obviously in the latter category.
Stan Wilson is a bot; created to sew watch discord. ๐
Next time reply, how come when you got your watch from Turkey,it came in a gucci man bag ๐ค๐คฃ๐

That my friend is a snob reply.
