Wow, thanks to all that contributed - so many good ones in there!  I think for me personally the standouts out of all that have been submitted are the Bulova 1954 from @Aurelian,  Sartory Billard from @AllTheWatches, and the Junghans from @Sewerman.

It's an interesting question. I've always found that I end up buying watches with black dials rather than blue as they are more practical, even though I then regret it afterwards for not being brave enough to go for blue. So recently I've decided to go for the colour that looks nicest irrespective of practicality  so I would say just go for the one that looks best to you.
