Girard Perregaux Laureato 42mm which color?

Hey guys, I’m thinking about buying a Girard Perregaux Laureato, and I’m torn between two color variant. The black dial and the blue dial. My skin tone is a bit dark and I have a 6in wrist. I’ve tried them on already and they actually fit great despite the 42mm diameter. Thank you and I look forward to hearing your feedback!

Do you have any black or blue dial watches?  Get the color you don't have to add  some variety to your collection.

I'd have a look at the new gold dial 38... beautiful color and size. Otherwise black...

I do! I own an explorer 1 12470 and an Omega Aquaterra in blue

That one looks stunning! I don’t think that’s in production anymore though.

Should’ve read it before replying but I didn’t know they made a new 38mm in gold!

100% blue

Go with blue, unless you want to wear the GP in a black tie event?

Video here that I missed, this is absolute fire... something different and maybe a better size for you I think (no offense). I'd at least try that size. I personally would do 38 too regardless of color.  Can't wait to go see this one in person.

I'd go for this blue dial myself...just can't seem to pull the trigger on it...

Girard-Perregaux Laureato UAE *Tiffany-Colored Blue dial* *UNWORN* *Limited Edition* *WIRE ONLY*

@Ricky8 I'm with one.five.ohh on this. The Laureato with gold dial, stunning watch and you are very unlikely to pass another person wearing one. proper watch nerd piece 👌

It's an interesting question. I've always found that I end up buying watches with black dials rather than blue as they are more practical, even though I then regret it afterwards for not being brave enough to go for blue. So recently I've decided to go for the colour that looks nicest irrespective of practicality  so I would say just go for the one that looks best to you.

It's beautiful but for some reason it's more expensive the  42mm and can you imagine they use gold plated indices in a 14k watch 😆

·

Laureato or octofinissimo? Which one and why would you choose?

I couldn't care less, but to each their own.

Upon reading the post, this was the first watch that came mind as well!! Definitely deserves a shot.

Enjoy the choice, I’d go for blue.

I'd go for the blue.
