SOTC!

My humble and eclectic collection; testament that I buy what I like, not necessarily the most on trend pieces. I love them all; each has many special memories associated with them. Plus, there a few of the gaps which are to be filled in the next couple of weeks!

Not to nit pick but "humble"? I think you uploaded the wrong picks 😅

Many fine pieces 👌

Beautiful stuff. Too many highlights to mention. is it tough picking in the morning? how often do you change during the day?

Thank you. I sometimes choose based on outfit or where I’m going, sometimes it’s pot luck, other times I ask my kids!

Thanks! It’s been built up over many years and is a source of pleasure for me. It’s a source of confusion for my wife though!

Great collection. What's the watch with the globe in the centre?

Thanks. It’s a Seiko Think The Earth WN-1, northern hemisphere. It was made in about 2000 to increase awareness about environmental issues; the hour marker goes round anticlockwise once every 24 hours (hour read off the bezel), with the minute marker moving in the conventional way. The centre piece can be removed to become a desk clock. A petty cool piece.

This is my collection, please spend the time to watch the video

Very Nice Collection, lots of varied pieces. Here's a snap of mine, I always seem to lean towards sports and divers, the collection has taken approx 5 years. Its a nightmare deciding what to wear and I sometimes swap during the day several times. My wife is also becoming more understanding and has even started a small collection herself.

Thanks for sharing.

Really nice collection, it's evident from the collection, you buy what you like, but you do have some heavy hitters that will also be the envy of the flex crowd.  lol.  How do you like the Ciga Planet Ocean?

·

Hey, that's a great collection! How do you like the Akon?

·

That Seiko Bullhead looks new!!! Could you please show us more photos of it? Thx

·

Very nice. 1st box I rate A- for just the one Speedmaster, though the Tudor 1926 lets you hang on to the A rating.

The second box, I rate a solid A. Fine collection if I may say so myself.

The third box, now that I rate A+. Fill 'er up and I'll add another plus or two, sir!

Cheers. Yeah, the planet watch is a Seiko Think The Earth WN-1, and it’s a  bit of a pain to read the time off! So yeah, I like its aesthetics and the ethos behind it. It also looks cool as a desk clock!

I absolutely love it.

Oo lots of good watches; I think the Wempe Chrono is my favorite! Reminds me of when I took a picture of a modded Porsche 911...only to find out when I was editing that it was quite a rare RUF! If I had known better I would've stuck around and taken more/better pictures lmao

·

Insane collection!! Great job.

·

Those Tudor chronos are legit! Which models are they?

·

the metronome seiko is a rare bird 😉

You’re absolutely spot on! I have never sold any watch that I’ve bought. I’ve come close a couple of times, but I found a strap change brought back the love. Good example is my Tudor Grantour Flyback; I wasn’t gelling with it and realised the OEM bracelet was making it a bit too much on the wrist. A change to a black leather rally strap changed everything. Much to my wife’s dismay!

Much to your wife's dismay?  Are we married to the same woman? 😂 Interesting that you mention changing a strap.. I have a Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Black PVD watch that I wear occasionally.  I've owned it for about a year and gradually lost my original enthusiasm for it. I decided that the change came from the fact that the black canvas strap that came on the watch, while functional for a field watch, cheapened the overall look. But a black leather "racing" strap from Barton made all the difference. Almost like a new watch.

Ha! Of course they are legit! Left is the Heritage Chrono, next to it is the Grantour Flyback

Love it.  So varied and interesting!!

My wifey isn‘t ok with my expending beyond around 8.  Ug.   I aspire to a group like you’ve acquired.

Multiple J12s?!  You really like Chanel?  Why double up on that model?  (Im interested in a J12 as well!)

The Chanel J12 is generally underrated, IMHO.  Chanel owns a significant share of Kenissi and uses a proprietary movement similar to the Tudor Black Bay.  It’s COSC certified with all ceramic 200m case and bracelet with a display back.  It also has one of the most unique butterfly clasps I’ve ever seen.  It’s also a GPHG winner.

I do recognize some Watch models but some I don‘t. Great looking collection.

Each one is different to me; the Superleggera being a chrono and with aluminium and ceramic bracPeet, the Chromatic because it is a unique mix of titanium, ceramic and chrome, and the Marine because it’s a diver with rubber strap, case covering and blue ceramic bezel! Plus the wife loves the diamonds on her classic black ceramic version!

Cheers; variety is the spice of love and some microbrands are absolutely brill!

Huge ups for the Timex arcade versions!! I love square watches so dreaming about the Monaco.  But I've already spend my quota for this year and then some haha. It's a dream watch for me with my finances.

Timex pac man edition i love that particular watch and apart from that very neat and clean collection loved it😍😍😍
