So, after my trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago, which can be seen here here and here. I definitely found the watch I wanted:

I decided that I would rather spend the dollars at home than there, so as soon as we landed back in LA we headed to Feldmar. The only issue was that they only had the green and gray dials in stock. My SA Lorel was able to quickly determine that the distributor had one available and they could have it in a week, so I left a deposit and managed to make it through the week without succumbing to the anticipation 😜.
So, yesterday I headed back to LA and along with a couple of nice little GO perks,
I picked up my watch!
I really am trying to get better at taking these photos, but this really is a tough one to capture. The GO description of the color is "Silver Galvanized" but it is one of those dials whose color changes all the time, depending on the setting and ambient light. It spans a wide spectrum of colors in the White/Gray/Silver range. The blued hand are simply gorgeous, and the large "Panorama date" is not only a really cool date complication but the only one I can see without my glasses on 🙄. The bracelet is very comfortable and has a great micro-adjust, that is a bit challenging to engage, but gives you a nice range of adjustment.
The exhibition back is the real cherry on the top, this is by far the most beautifully decorated movement in my collection.
This is also the first moonphase complication I have ever owned, so it was really cool going through the steps to set the moonphase.
Overall my expectations have been exceeded. This is really a beautiful watch, that I know I will get years of enjoyment from.

One of my grail (considering I’ll never be able to afford a Lange 1). Always loved the silver dial, but the green looks fantastic also. How’s the bracelet?
The bracelet is quite nice, it’s hard to tell in the photos but the outer links are brushed and the inner are polished. My intention is to find some really great straps, and I will eventually….but I have a feeling this bracelet will get its fair share of use.

I was all in on this one, but when I went to my local dealer they only had the green in stock:
I definitely had to take a beat or two before deciding to wait for the Silver. The Green dial is incredible!
