There's that sinking feeling when you spend money/ time on the internet's favorite cartier but just can't feel the magic... Well the Santos medium had to go.
I was almost too embarrassed to make this video, I thought I would be banished to a leper colony of poor taste, but alas, I had to face the music.
Luckily I found salvation in the end, did I make a huge mistake?

Probably just needed to find a better fit! If the santos line is for you, then it’s comprehensible to try on a few before you find the most appropriate model. Good thing, it’s easy when you have a wide array of choices within the same family!
I always follow my heart Max. I really can appreciate Cartier for what they are and represents. I just never have "fallen" in love with one. But I do feel you did the right thing searching for love of a watch.

The Santos Large ADLC has hard diamond like coating, it never picks up scratches. My wrist is 6.5 inches btw. Rubber strap wears like a dream.

You got it! I'll never get rid of this one. It's stock - no need to do much to this car. Saving itnforntrack days with my son now. The back end gets lost very easily. It tries to beat you up when you on a spirited drive.
The Glabée is pretty nice watch, the sharp angles suit the watch very well. I also had a Santos de Cartier in Medium, however that was also never really the right Cartier for me.
My favorite Cartier is the Tank, so simple and nice. I chose the most simple dial, this watch I really don’t have to adjust 😆 Additionally, winding the movement is thanks to the small crown also not the biggest pleasure… but is looks so damn good!
Yesterday I had the chance to try this „too much“ Tank on and it made me thinking if I should start a Tank subcollection^^

Regarding the santos, I got mine after watching your “I found my favorite Cartier” with the line - ‘the bracelet just melts into your hand….’ I even finalized the silver version. But when I went to the boutique the 2 tone one had my name written all over it.
The only thing I had on mind was the micro scratches this model gets from just wearing it and even touching my shirt sleeve but that quickly evaporated as I saw these as battle scars and a proud feeling of being privileged to get to wear my dream watches everyday. So I appreciate your research, the work and discipline that goes into putting content out and introducing me to a watch I love and can never think of parting or giving away.
