That's how I feel about the 1545, way too close to the Rolex. That's why I can never pull the trigger. I would like a smaller option though. I'm looking at Nevada...

Same here, love the 1521 and 2002 though quite big, maybe too big. The 1545 has been around since the Fifthy Fathoms, in the 70s though, as an "homage" to the more successful Sub, so that throws me off a little for sure.
The new 1544 just came out though and, while retaining the objectively great Sub proportions, it is far from a copy. I like it, a lot and yet I still have reservations about it. Thoughts?
Hi Lars! I'm not big on homages and wanted to get the 1521 (possibly the cosc version) or the Certina PH500M. Both of them quite large. Now though, Squale released the new 1545 in 40mm. I guess my question is: is the 1545 the same, in terms of quality as 1521? And how do they compare to more premium offerings, like your Tudor. Thank you so much for your time.
