Hey Max, I’m listening and only about two minutes in.

As a content creator, I would suggest the background music is too loud. It competes with the dialog. And it’s not especially interesting music - very much “your call is very important to us your estimated hold time is” music.

Which is a shame as everything else you do in your videos is great.

I really dislike Panerais…too big, crown guard is terrible..all that. But I love to hear what people like about watches I don’t like, sometimes it makes me reevaluate. I might be able to get onboard with a Panerai when viewed as answering the question “how would the Italians solve this problem?”

I’d wanna ask Marshall exactly how much just his tools cost (minus oils, and cleaning solutions, and whatnot) just so I can definitely say no to myself when I think about getting into restoring my own pieces.

I agree, the time flew by and wanted more. Nice topic - f/m/k, but you could've transitioned to one more topic easily and I hope you would've lost listeners. You, @Max, have the data and I'm sure there are people where this is the sweet spot.

I heard the hesitation in your voice of repeating the f/m/k title, so you should've explained the Brit version! Shag, marry, kill, is how I learnt it from my time in the UK!

Maybe you should've done philosophy in uni instead of civil engineering! You seem to like ruminating on things.

Guess I'm gonna be the only one to say this, but — as much as I absolutely love hearing Andrew's thoughts — the premise was offensive. I only watched the first couple of minutes. Obviously, the demographics of this site don't match the general population, but if they did, this video might have lost you half of your users.

It definitely left enough of a bad taste in my mouth for me to reconsider whether I wanted to spend any more time on this site. Coming back after 24 hours and finding no one else here has expressed the same concerns has only reinforced that feeling. Not sure I'll ever come back.

Great video and guest! Now that you have a personal trainer ( you've mentioned a few times) do you plan to gift a watch when you hit some fitness goals? Maybe gently wein him/her off that fitbit into something we all call a watch? GShock for starters? Or maybe a sports watch that you can actually do lapse in?

What defines the fitness goal ? Stick with me it's watch related ...

I would also like to add that as an advanced diver, that crown protector suddenly made sense to me, as coral is soooo hard, that if your wrist hits against coral this is a great idea, . For a long time I thought it was just a pretentious thing, (duh) its for the Navy, and for Divers in general I think this is a good idea.

I agree, and I think at best it was in poor taste, and at worst it was offensive. I was genuinely shocked. I didn't care much for the format, and I find our fearless leader's other content much more interesting and tasteful.
