No. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to complain about your post. The problem is that the site search is useless. I tried to search for the older threads myself and came up empty. And I personally commented on at least two of them:)

I thought it would be good to create a thread of straps retailers

You are far from the first member to think this thought, but I can't blame you for starting another thread. The site's search function is so poor that finding those earlier threads (and there are at least half a dozen) is nigh on impossible.

While my 1999 Air-King is at the Rolex spa for service, I fall back to an equally old Orient Star

Folded paper towel for vintage pieces. It’s a tip I got from The Omega Enthusiast.

I'm not sure if April Fools' Day is strictly an American thing that isn't apprecicated in Vietnam, but, yeah, that's not an Omega Seamaster.

I was actually a bit surprised to stumble across this on Instagram. My scrawny wrist loves the 34mm size. Another option is a 1990s Orient Star 597302-70. It's not a strict homage, but the inspiration seems pretty clear. Although mine has a white dial with gold markers, black dial / silver marker versions are readily available, e.g. on eBay, for around $200.

You can buy the generic version from Amazon, eBay etc. and then buy genuine Bergeon or Horotec replacement tips. Still expensive, but not quite as much.
