No More Divers!!!!

Today, I decided to change up my watch organizing. I had core watches (those I wear frequently) and noncore watches (those I wear infrequently) in separate boxes. My new method consolidates all watches by function no matter the wrist time. Well, I have too many effin divers. I’ve been picking up two or three a year since 2018. I fell into the hoarder trap and wasn’t paying attention. I need to thin the herd. So, no more divers for me though I reserve the right to sell and replace one. I’m only human.

Side note. With the exception of the Duro, Casios reside in a grab and go tray by the bed.

In fairness, a lot of these look different unlike some people that have multiple generic black dial divers that look like some "find 3 differences" puzzle. But I applaud this stance and encourage all to follow the example.

Shame on you 😂

Divers are my favourite, but in agreement with @PoorMansRolex never the same colour get some different colours n bezel’s oh and there’s about 5 different duro’s out there 😉

I bet you’ll succumb and buy another……..😂

I am weak and I don't have any watches with gold trim!

I have a bunch of divers (14), purchased for their varying colors to match different clothing. And now I don't buy any more divers - at all. That's it, I'm done, I'm divered-out as well.

If I can cut mine in half, I’ll be happy.

It's gonna be rough making that call on what goes. It would be for me, that's why I just hoard. 👍

How do you enjoy the Helm watch? What's your impression of the company/watch?

·

Love that Mido 👌 Having a plan is good

I kinda want "one in every color"

Or maybe not every single color, but I want a pink/peachy one, an orange, a sunny yellow. I've got blue and Seafoam

Didn’t know CW and Halios made left handers 😉

It's great. I got the watch ahead of schedule on Tuesday and been wearing it on and off. The homage dial and polished surfaces are on point. The lume is as good as advertised. It feels solid on wrist and the bracelet is well constructed. Bezel is grippy and loud. My only minor comment is the date. It is on the small side and is hard to read unless you're in a well-lighted environment. For this model, Helm could have left it off or maybe used a small magnifier (eek!)

Interactions with the company went smoothly. Matt (I assume) asked me to confirm how I jumped the line and answered a few questions I had very quickly. I bought a better clasp off the site based on comments by other Crunchers and Matt had it put on the bracelet for me prior to shipping.

Well, that set off my OCD. All fixed! 😀

I will order a "salmon" watch to be my pink/peachy one, but it'll be a dress watch, maybe a Corgeut from AliExpress, something inexpensive. In the meantime, my divers:

Lololol prolly me to some extent......but my tastes do run legible and black.....save the color for wild straps when I'm feeling 🐸.

To the OP, nice collection and love that Miyako.

You should buy a Khuraburi or Miyako in white though.....don't see any white dial divers to be "completely" done with divers.....

Or a Bernhardt Diver in Rose Gold.....

😜

You have some good diversity in there though, I like your Halios out of that bunch the best at first glance …

If I was to thin out your divers I would start with the Seiko watches , the Halios watches and Helm I would keep along with the Mido and Squale

I am trying to close on a cream, non-diver. In terms of a pure white dial diver, the Marathon MSAR is nice but I'll never know because I am done with divers 😢

I hear you. I do like the King Turtle and Happy Feet though. Definitely keeping the Helm.

Have to keep the CW too it’s awesome 😎

I agree. But selling the CW plus the Halios puts me in range a Sinn 104. For desk diving and business casual, the Zodiac and the DW5600 should suffice. Also, I could wake up and forget everything I said tonight -- Memento style.

Sold my Sinn 104 & my SARB017 for a Tudor Ranger , the Sinn was a great watch , I just needed the funds for the Tudor so I hear you !

That watch is stunning. Excellent choice!

I like all your divers - my least favortite is the grey Halios and your king turtle and addiesdive are my favorite of the bunch - I own your king samurai.
