Very interesting subject Dean . There’s definitely a lull out there right now. We all know the luxury watch market is declining by the day as the rich aren’t buying ! When the rich don’t buy, that’s when it gets really serious! I’ve seen several channels pivoting but maybe not just because of the downward market but simply for a change to keep the enthusiasm of creating up! Viewers are seeing through grey market YouTubers who say the market is still ok . We can see through the BS . It is a buyers market right now IF you’ve got the money to buy! YouTubers can’t just buy a Hamilton or a Seiko these days just for review because they ain’t cheap no more!;)the big entry level Swiss brands don’t loan out watches too often! It’s taken me 3 years to get Seiko on board with the channel!;) IM DESPERATE FOR CASIO!!!!!! AD’s loaning watches I’ve heard is drying up .

I’m in a fortunate position where I can review a new 40 pound Casio one show, then a 5k vintage Omega the next ! I’ve tried to attatched myself to those that don’t BS customers or viewers and the channels that do that will succeed ! How many watch YouTubers are entertaining though that’s the question???????? For me there has to be more to a show than great videography and flecto shots!!!

That’s got worse than when I started 3 years ago! Most channels even the ones I’ve loved in the past now have the looks and dry quips as each other! Personality and character has to come through and you know what….. a viewer will come back to watch you review a toothbrush if you get it right! I’m still lovin every minute and feel more excited about this hobby than when I started this channel. Love the WatchCrunch Comments! Plus I promise EVEN THOUGH IM GOING TO WATCHES AND WONDERS… I will not do a prediction show! Let the boring channels do it ay!;)

It’s a field watch?! Apart from that it is nothing like the khaki mechanical . The sad thing is you haven’t watched the show, the reasons why it was designed like it is. This is something you don’t get with pumped out Chinese factory watch brands.
