Hi all! I know I don’t post a lot on WC! I honestly do like reading and watching other people’s posts more!;) And it got me thinking! I know I’ve sent a few of you to Watch Crunch and have joined! Tell me! Are you enjoying being a member? Have you recommended WC to other watch nerds? Do you now have close watch cyber buddies thanks to Watch Crunch!?

I found this site because you told me about it. I am liking it a lot. I don't know any other people that are into watches, but I have commented a little on other WCer's posts and I hope I've not been a pest. 😀

I found #watchcrunch through your channel, started my own page up and I can honestly say it’s the best social platform I have found, people are friendly, welcoming, honest, helpful, knowledgeable, and a whole lot more.
From this I have made new friends, chatted endlessly about watches (which I think is a godsend for my wife, so I don’t bore her as much) it’s a great place to post your thoughts on all kinds of watch topics. I contacted Paul Thorpe a few months ago with my idea of a travel watch, he was too busy to be able to help, so I decided it was time to try myself. So, I bought a Casio, found 12 participants on here willing to help and sent it out, I asked them to take photos of it, take it on travels, mod it if they like, so far it’s been in the UK, SCOTLAND, CANADA, USA, going back to CANADA, then SAIPAN, 3 more places in the USA, then back to UK a few times. This has really taken off and helped me with my 2 new projects below.
@WatchCrunch also created a badge for me, any participant who has my #casio gets the badge!
From this I have secured a #williamwood watch having contacted them with my idea, Jonny was impressed and sent one out to me last week. I will be sending this out to firefighters around the country (*see my post) they wear it, document it and pass it to the next station, the watch after one year returns to me to pass back to William Wood and they auction this for charity.
I also have the same idea for a travel watch with #aboutvintage this one is going to 15 different participants I have found here on watchcrunch, so its going to someone in the UK, SWEDEN, SINGAPORE, JAPAN, USA, CANADA, OZ, MUNICH, AUSTRIA, and UK again then back to me to pass back to About Vintage to auction for charity.
