@MWC2020's First collab watch! Each part of it resembles Hamilton, Omega, Vertex and Seiko (and a wall clock ๐ )! It has a modified Miyota movement.
This really looks good! What do you think?
Can't wait to get mine.

Will 2024 be the year of watch YouTubers watch releases? Jody had definitely shown them the way.
Edit: I just watched the MWC's video. The watch looks good, the price is ok, so yeah. Godspeed.
Also, MWC's video was enjoyable as always๐
Yup, Jody open the gate! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I am very much not into field watches and would probably never get one, but damn, I have to give it to him, MWC knocked this one out of the park with the design choices and the specs.
The way the numerals 4-8 are flipped drives me nuts. Just looks out of synch on this watch.

Mrs. MWC even said the numbers look numbers in a wall lock! ๐
Cool, but I question the thought behind a screw down crown and manual wind together.
I don't see any reason to buy this over the Hamilton Khaki field or Seiko. It looks like a cash grab to me

The screw down crown is to make it WR100 and manaul wind to make it thinner. It makes it unique piece

The first dive watches didn't have a screw down crown, which is completely unnecessary for water resistance - it's the seals that stop water ingress not the screw down crown - that's for security and to stop it being accidentally pulled.
You're not alone in that belief tho, many folks think it's part of the w/r - I did until someone corrected me and I looked it up.
The reason for my criticism is the threads wear which is why you don't find many manual wind with a screw down crown.

Oh I see now. True...
Too dang small๐
Too dang small๐
I know, and this will be my first 36mm watch
I really dig it. Well done to you @MWC2020 ๐๐ป๐๐ป
I love the fact that it comes with default QR spring release bars!
For 99% of us, itโll suffice everyday use and doesnโt require a springbar tool the vast majority of regular buyers donโt have
Let us know how you get on with the winding.

My CW has 150m wr with a push in crown, hand wind and screw in crown is a bad idea as you are likely at some point to damage the threads on the crown tube.

Yes but, unscrewing it every two days to wind it will have that crown tube wearing out.

You have a point but like @Matt_Kane said if you have multiple watches and wear occasionally then I don't think wear and tear will be that so significant. That's just my opinion. โ๏ธ

Very true, but what if it is something you want to wear all the time, like is often the case when you get a new piece. Might not be off your wrist for 2, 3, 4 weeks + and during that time you will need to wind it probably every 1.5 days? It is the only weakness in what I think is a very nice watch and MWC has done well with the design and the quality looks great.
It looks horribleโฆ..
Too small
Copy of Hamilton and Vertex
All they did was remove the rotor to make it manual.
Donโt need to be reminded daily of the โmadโ on the dial.
Weโll see how the lume is, but if poor, then ๐ฅฒ

The term "unique piece" is open to interpretation.
The Rolex Rainbow Daytona is often called a "unique piece".
It reminds me of Islander x TGV latest Rangemaster. They had the same thing with rotor removal. Still looks cool though, but I wouldnโt buy it ๐
Am not feeling it, also why is his name on the dial ๐ฅฒ
Do not see the attraction here of this far too small watch, bland
Only place where they screwed up is with the movement and 18mm lug width. Really feels like a watch that's "hacked" together or something.
I'm sure most people would rather have an automatic rather than manual wind, or at least having the option to choose between the two.
And I don't think most people have 18mm straps lying around. 20mm is still the best size. Smaller lug width makes a watch look small and dainty.
Well done, wishing Russell success.

A cash grab?!?!?! Iโve made an automatic manual wind only and itโs 36 mm ?!?!? Come on man why in the flying feck would I help promote a bloody cash grab! I designed this for ME!!!! The fact others like it is a bonus! Some people have no faith in some of us watch YouTube guys . Weโre enthusiasts like you that have been fortunate to have doors opened to us because the hard work we put into our craft ! A cash grab ?? Jeeeeez

Itโs a proper cash grab isnโt it my friend

No disrespect, but you made a Hamilton Khaki without the history and quality attached to the brand. There are a lot of Chinese factories pumping the same design for cheaper. People who would like to change some details on the Khaki field may find your vision to be perfect.
But I would like to see more originality from a watch youtuber.

Itโs a field watch?! Apart from that it is nothing like the khaki mechanical . The sad thing is you havenโt watched the show, the reasons why it was designed like it is. This is something you donโt get with pumped out Chinese factory watch brands.
