I'm in Love

I have to say, I didn't expect to be as dazzled over this watch as I am.  It looks incredible.  What do you think, braclet or rubber?

I'm normally a strap guy  but , in this case , I like the bracelet more.

·

I was always a fan of the Omega Speedmaster but seeing this new Seamaster on the bracelet with the green dial I might have found a new grail 😮‍💨😍

·

Yeah, it looks absolutely fantastic!  I say go with the bracelet, and then later get the rubber to freshen things up!

·

What @Omeganut said. Get both. Be somebody!

·

looks amazing on rubber strap

·

Bracelet. You can probably get the rubber strap from Omega later If you want it. I thought I’d wear my SMP on a NATO all the time when I bought it, but it almost never leaves the bracelet.

·

I am normally in the “always buy it on a bracelet” camp, but as an SMP owner, rubber strap all day long, unless I missed that they have finally updated their bracelet. As always, buy what you like.

·

Rubber strap, and then a nice MN for variety.

·

I agree - when I saw this release I was immediately smitten. The green adds something special to the dial design and the bright white indices. I say get the bracelet and buy the rubber later. I think this would look phenomenal on a sailcloth strap. 🤙

·

I’m in the get both camp.

I only have the bracelet for mine but im going to order the strap next time i’m at the AD.

love the new color!

·

I am so with you, completely torn….honestly thinking about ordering it on the bracelet and ordering the rubber seperately. it’s such a gorgeous watch

·

Rubber all the way. Bracelet doesn't taper and the way the Omega rubber integrates with the watch makes it arguably the most versatile watch out right now.

·

That green does look something special I'm really excited to see what it looks like in the wild. The most important thing when you get it is to post pics on here so we get some juicy (or would it be crunchy?) wrist shots. 👍

·

i'd usually go bracelet, even if you intend to wear on rubber. Always easier to get the watch with bracelet and source a strap later than vice versa

I’ve never liked the SMP300. I  have always found it kind of… idk, tacky isn’t the right word, but just, a little overdesigned and the design elements never seemed harmonious to me. Just feels very typical semi gaudy 90s design.  the current gen smp300, especially  with white dial, improves on that.

but, in green? Oh man. this thing just jumped from bottom of my list, to somewhere in the top 5. can’t wait to check this out in person.

·

Bracelet ALL day EVERY day 💪🏽😎👊🏽

·

Do we know the price difference between the bracelet and strap options yet?

·

that helium escape valve...😕

Exactly my thoughts.  To me Tudor pélagos LHD was like the only luxury diver worth it to me.  But I am actually completely smitten with this green SMP.  Gonna have to try it on and make a bad decision 😂😂

·

i dont know about you guys, but i like bracelet more than rubber strap

·

I have most of my watches on rubber and leather.. But looking at it side by side like that, the one on the bracelet pops a lot more.

Well now we have to make “crunchy shot” happen. 😂

Honestly its one of the only things holding me back from getting an SMP300. The fact that a $5k diver has a bracelet that doesn't taper is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I was hoping they'd update the bracelet this year...😕

Exactly, and no an the fly adjust to boot, while being a little sharp too.  On the others hand the rubber strap is really nice.
