I completely agree, on both points. No-one is turning down a Daytona for the sheer ROI, but in terms of watchmaking, this is superior (in my opinion).
I was in Winchester last week, and there is a business that is the world leader in restoration of Grandfather clocks. He had a Zenith and we were talking about the Chronomaster Sport. We spoke about the comparison to the Daytona and he rolled his eyes saying the Zenith is a better watch by every metric.
I'd grab one of the new AquaTerra's, with the 6-second sub dial. I got the green one in 2020 to commemorate my mum's passing. Great watch.

Thank you. It's one of those watches that just can't display it's beauty in a photo (or not with my limited abilities!). The ceramic just glistens at every angle. It's a beauty.
