Me over here with my 18 watch collection. I have felt a similar way before, though. That I’ve got too many watches and several that I hardly wear. I’ve contemplated liquidating my collection a bit and only keeping watches I actually wear. And then use the money from selling the watches I don’t wear to buy another watch or two that I would actually wear. (That’s a lot of “wear”)
I usually pick one watch and stick with it. But if it’s a Friday, I usually switch to my Seiko SSK001 or my Breitling Superocean Heritage after school, regardless of what I’m doing for the evening.
I guess for this specific watch, solid gold. But if it were the black dial submariner or black dial sky dweller, then I gotta go with two tone.
I guess my grail right now is the omega speedmaster sapphire sandwich. But if having that means I can’t visit family and go other places, I’ll stick with my Seiko SSK001.
I think sub $1k is considered budget, so yes. But budget could mean different things to different people, but at least I think sub $1k is widely considered budget.
