Watch modding digital style
I know Max did a recent video about watch modding and building with a DIY kit. Very cool. But, howabout modding and building with digital watches?.. c'mon, Casio G-Shocks has to be up there with Seiko mods. Probably generally less expensive and much simpler to do, but, no less fun and rewarding bespoke project, I think.
I just got this kit in and remodded my GWB5600AR-1 with a titanium kit the AliExpress store I got it from calling it "Mechanical Robot" (or something like that. As those who know their G-Shock Square variety, this is essentially like the 1sr gen "Virtual Armor" model. Pretty happy with this bespoke look. Although the grey titanium camo kit I had on prior looked pretty good, too, with the GWB5600AR, the Virtual Armor style certainly matches the red, grey and black colors of the base watch used even better. About $160 or so well spent, IMHO.
And, no, I wouldn't consider this a fake. 1) I'm not trying to pass this off as a true out of factory option. Of course not. 2) Inside and under the cool exterior "armor" still runs a genuine Casio G-Shock GWB5600 module. It's just a cosmetic mod and upgrade.

Definitely fun relatively affordable hobby
I dig the look of some of those G Shock mods, I'm tempted to look for one for my square but I don't like that so many have after market bezels have the "Protection " and "G Shock" on them. I had a tab open with one that looked kinda vaguely mesoamerican theme, even engraved bracelet, very cool, but I closed it and cannot find it again. That being said, yours looks dope af.

Not a bad description. I actually went with this look for 2 reasons. It reminds me of 2 things I enjoy. 1) It very much looks like the armor design used in the later Metal Gear Solid games.. the way the character Raiden looks like in MGS4. 2) Perhaps more so, the general color scheme also reminds me of Martian tactical gear l, weapons and spaceships in one of my favorite sci-fi series of all time, "The Expanse".
