In 2022, i bought 6 watches but only one was for myself. Most of them I bought for my family members as living in HK means I can get better price for the watches! Breakdown:

1. G-Shock GWM5610 - For Myself :D 
2. 2 HK-ED (Seagull 1963 inspired watch with the same movement) - as I am in HK, my brother ask me to help with the purchase, never really wear them though (https://www.hkedwatches.com/collections/sapphire-crystal-chronograph/products/new-sapphire-hked-ed63-sunburst-blue)
3. Omega Speedmaster Professional (Cal. 3861 co-axial movement) - help my brother purchase one of his dream watches (better price in HK, good discount!)
4. Tudor BB58 blue color that I wanted, but in the end my brother wanted it more and let it go for the price i bought it for 
5. Omega Seamaster 300 that i bought for myself, but in the end i felt like its not my time to wear such an expensive watch. I had anxiety of scratching it and it the end sold it to someone who wanted it for her husband. 

As a watch enthusiast, I am really happy with the purchases and experience! I get the thrill of buying the watch and trying the out, despite it not being mine in the end!

Congratulation for the watch man! What a beautiful dial and a heck of a watch! Love the green! it really pops up and reminded me of the time I was able to travel to the arashiyama bamboo forest in Kyoto, Japan! 

I envy people like you with a lot of watches ;)

Longines have been killing it lately! They stay true to their history and they have been dropping great watches (with 36 mm options for those with smaller wrist)! Even the new Patek Phillipe Calatrava seems to take out some of the design elements of Longines aviation model like the SPIRIT

To me, I still think Seiko is my favorite bang-for-your buck (BFYB) watch brand. The rich history, time-tested workhorse, and totally in-house manufacturing is really still a marvel today. 

Yes, they are trying to climb to another market, and yes, they have various QC problem. However, I believe it is still the best BFYB watch you can buy! especially JDM models like SARB033 [sadly discontinued] that originally cost around $300. Even their newer models such as SPB143J is such a great watch for $1000 that stays true to the 62MAS models. 

If you are talking one day, usually 1. Within a week 2 (because I only own 2 watches: SARB033 or GW M5610) 😂

Man, you make me want one of these!
